The problem with it is it does not protect the lid from opening. If you drop your AirPod case the lid will open and the buds will fly out causing scratching and damage. It happened to me a few times already. I’d recommend buying a case with a latch that will keep the lid closed to protect from that.

The lid pops open very easy lost one of my ear buds in less then a month. Had the original AirPods for 5 years never lost one due to having a different case
