For the price it’s a case. It sticks in your pocket when trying to get it out. No real protection for the phone. All around just a case to protect from scratches

I liked the look a lot. But had to return it. The case was too slippery.

The Insignia silicone case is a great alternative to the Apple silicone case for a much better price. Like all Insignia products that I’ve used you get the same quality as if it was a big name brand. The Insignia case just like the Apple case is lined with felt to help protect your phone from scratches while in the case. The case does have a bit of a slippery feel to it, though from my experience that’s normal with any brand of silicone case when they’re new. My girlfriend loves the silicone cases and after some use they do become more grippy as they wear in. You also get the same MagSafe compatibility and I’m glad to say the magnets are strong. I’ve used some aftermarket MagSafe products that didn’t have the same strength as OEM products and it’s nice to see that’s not the case here. Insignia has long been a brand that I know I’ll get the same quality and sometimes better for a lot less than the big brands and that’s the same here. If you want OEM quality for less than half the price without compromises, Insignia has you covered.

Anytime I get a new iPhone, picking the case is one of the most difficult parts. Whichever case I pick must be protective, sleek/stylish, and functional. Choosing the perfect case for iPhone 16 has been extremely difficult for me due to the new capacitive camera button. Until case designers figure out how to design a case that allows you to use the button through the case, there are only two options. One is a case that use a large cut out but leaves your phone unprotected and the other is just a cut out around the button and makes it slightly harder to use. Neither is a great option and case makers have become quite creative. The other thing about cases is that they have become extremely expensive. The great thing about insignia cases is that they are affordable and do not compromise on protection. This allows you to buy more than one if you are someone who likes to change out their phone case often. The insignia silicone case with magsafe is a great choice for iPhone 16. The silicone material is a rubberized silicone which make it easy to grip and it does not slide around when set on a flat surface. Although it can be a little hard to put in and out of your pocket if they are tight fitting, this also make it stay more securely in your pocket. Magsafe is a must whenever I buy a phone case because most of the accessories I use including wallet and charger require this technology. Overall, this is a great case for the price and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a case for the new iPhone 16. This version is for the iPhone 16 Pro Max but I believe Insignia makes one for the other iPhone 16’s as well.

I've had a lot of good experiences with Insignia accessories for my Apple Watch, mostly their bands. Great quality and really comfortable. When I saw the Silicone case, I was really excited to try it out. I'm already used to the 1st party offerings and wanted to see what made Insignia cases different. Unfortunately, it fell a little flat. First, I'll say the design is very nice and the material is very slick. Maybe a little too slick where it can fall out of your hands, but slick enough to easily slip into a pocket. MagSafe support is a bit disappointing. Yes it has it, but it's not as strong as the first party Apple cases or other 3rd party ones. If you have a MagSafe car mount, your phone will immediately fall within the first few minutes of driving. Also, something I really dislike is that the thin silicone pieces above the camera control button and USB-C cutouts are floppy. I would have preferred them to be rigid to give it a more premium feel, but I think as the case wears it will only cause problems. Overall, I'm not really thrilled with the Silicone MagSafe case for my 16 Pro Max. Insignia makes some great accessories for Apple, but this case just quite didn't hit the mark.
