Does what it claims

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to access some photos from some long expired cameras purchased at an estate sale. It does it's job, bu sometimes the reading, or file transfer is slow, but that could be due to the age of the camera cards. Haven't had a chance to try it on newer cards.

Card reader... quick, simple, no complaints

Works as advertised-- works particularly well on the end of the USB-C dongles Apple is forcing me to buy. Docked it one star because it won't do micro- and regular SD cards at the same time (but maybe that's a known limitation, I don't know).

Great for transferring photos

Nifty Gadget You didn't know you needed

This nifty device allows you to pull your SD card out of your camera, put it in the adapter, plug it directly into the USB slot on your or anyone else's TV, and quickly set up a slide show instantly with no processing of your shots. If you are shooting a lot of pictures at a gathering, you can display them immediately with this little gadget pulled out of your pocket. Just be ready to turn your head sideways for the portrait shots. :-)

Great adaptor for computers with no card reader
