A little light weight and flimsy but did the job of allowing me to rescue pictures from a micro SD card from a phone that had died. Good deal since it was on sale at the time.

Does what it's supposed to do. Biggest issue is going to be durability. How many times can you insert and pull out SD cards before this begins to fail? Let the RNG begin!

My macbook pro has a broke card reader and even though this card reader is USB 2.0 it still transfers amazingly fast. average transfer speed on my MBP is around 150-200mbps using the usb 3.0 port. i'm using a C10 samsung micro sdxc card. my only complaint is the build quality, it feels like they could use a little better material or maybe attach it to a cable so every time I touch it it won't feel like its going to snap off the male usb adapter. other than that great for the price and helped me in a snap. 4 Stars! * * * *

There is not much to say here. The reader works and it hasn't failed on me yet. I use it occasionally with memory cards for handhelds and such.

You can't use both at the same time, but thats ok.. just remember to eject before you pull it out. Great, inexpensive purchase..

I bought something at Fry's and this works wayyyyyy better. the one from Fry's did not read Sony memory cards which I was not warned about.

New computer didn't have built in card reader and I have too many memory cards!! Thank you Best Buy as usual having the solution to my problem.

I've had a couple of USB adapters for memory cards. They come in very handy for transferring files between my phone and laptop. The ones I've had before had caps on both ends to cover the USB connector and the card slot. Two caps to keep track of. I love how this Insignia just lets you plug the cards right into the side. Very happy with this device.

Memory cards are used more and more these days. It used be just in digital cameras, but now they are found in phones, computers, and other devices. Having this reader makes it easier to access what are on these cards.
