Downloading pictures from Canon camera was easy

The original software that came with the camera no longer worked; this item permitted me to continue using the camera which I had used for several years. A store clerk recommended this item rather than some type of software which I was looking for.

Very handy item to have in your computer case

There are other ways to do this, but this is the most convenient and easiest way I have found.

Great Card Reader

I have had complete success and not lost any data when copying. My only complaint is that it's not USB 3.0 so it takes a while when transferring multiple GB of data. Other than that, it is one of the best, most reliable card readers that I have used to date. I'm only taking off one star because it's USB 2.0 - This day and age everything should be USB 3.0, there is no excuse for this.
