I purchased this to connect a Vista laptop usb port to a VGA projector ~ however it failed to work for this particular operating system. I did not try it on other computers ... I'll try to post if that is successful.

This device allowed me to convert the only remaining port on the school computer to accept the connection for a projector I had labored very hard to ceiling mount. My frustration had been significant after all that work, and no way to do the final connection.

Will not work with out downloading software! Bought this is to use on work computer at home, geek squad assistant said I would not need to download any software. Had to return.

Possibly confined to system video memory to support hd on usb 3 lines. Does not support 1080p Sick n tired of wasting time trying to installing it. Keeps locking my computer up to a black screen whenever i use it on usb 3.

One of the screw in sides broke after a few weeks, but it still works. This short cable to make my new monitor work with my new work computer was outrageously priced. Next time, I will look for a used one on eBay.

Bought this to setup a work computer on a regular monitor, since I do not have admin rights to the computer it would not let me load the required software to make it run. Returned to the store for a different adapter.

This is a good adapter. Works nice and connects without problems. Cons: too short. It wouldn't hurt to be a few inches longer. Pricey.

I got this product and it was an expensive one among the others. I plugged it and its folder showed up automatically. I installed driver from that folder, then it asked me to restart my PC... I did it... Then, my laptop did not come back anymore. Obviously, the driver crashed Windows 10 somehow. I had to format the PC and lost all my data because of this terrible product . I wasted my 5 hours to install everything back again... I would not ever never recommend this product.

We purchased this to hook up our older projector to our windows 10 laptop. No matter how many times we installed the program and followed the instructions perfectly it would not work. I had to return it.

I bought this adapter to add a second monitor and the resolution was too low so I ended up trading it for a vga to digital display adapter that works great.

I only used this item once to see that it works...and it does. It allows me to use any computer with a USB adapter with our projector. So - I rate this one a good buy if you have an older projector and a newer computer.

It does it’s job but the may not be compatible with your computer. Mine would work most of the time. Other times the computer would reset because it didn’t recognize the usb

DId not pay attention that this is a female monitor end and when I got home the monitor I have is also female. Keeping anyway as there are 2 other monitors that it may work.

I purchased this because I was having issues getting a desktop to use the dual screen feature. So it fixed the issue, but the screen resolution left something to be desired.

Honestly I think this is great for home use/light general computer use. If you use this in a business setting it struggles when lots of applications are open.
