The adapter worked but it did not project enough detail. I needed another adapter for my MacBook Air. I could have used some help from one of the sales people.

I purchase two of these adaptors for two different computers. the first computer was a window 7 pro and it worked fine. the second was the same but had an older version of windows office and once installed none of the office program would not work at all. I had to uninstall the adaptor software and uninstall and reinstall office. I am glad I created a restore point before installing.

This product helped us to connect our old technology (projector with VGA port) with the new technology (computer without ). We were not able to invest in more projectors so this was what we needed.

I bought this item but it didn't work for what I needed for because I needed to purchased another part which I end up doing but it still didn't work.

It’s nice to still have an option to hook up a projector to a newer computer. It was hard to find this product in store, so be prepared to buy online.

The resolution is really low. I guess it depend for what do you want this device, can be an ok adapter.

It works. Just note that you do have to install a driver, either from an automatic pop-up when you plug it in for the first time or download it directly from Insignia's website.

Overpriced, are cheaper elsewhere but in a pinch this gets the job done. works well but doesnt have the screw in holes to secure the vga cable in.

Love this hub. It gives me the opportunity to attach my printer, ergonomic keyboard, dvd writer and wireless mouse to my laptop, so I have all the items I need to work successfully.

I gave this a 3 because even though I used the monitor before with my desktop, when I used it to plug into my laptop something isn't compatible. The screen flashes and I can't adjust the resolution to the page is bigger than my screen. I tried to download a different driver and nothing is working.

Upon placing my order, the item shipped out almost immediately. Installation was clearly defined and easy. Upon installation I found the product does exactly as anticipated.

This worked OK to set up my second monitor from my computer for the new monitor. Negative thing is it makes the connection lag a little bit.

I needed a connection to use my second monitor with an HP laptop. Did the trick without any issues. Instructions tell you how to install the driver, which I had to do.

Purchased this adapter so I could add another monitor to my Dell all in one. The adapter did as I needed and my second monitor works great with good video quality

My laptop did not have a VGA port. I used this to attach to a projector that had a VGA connection to project a powerpoint presentation.

was good just standard equipment. it was for a old computer screen to use on my lap top

I was unable to connect my new computer to the video in the conference room b/c the new computer was missing the VGA adapter. This compact adapter works great!
