    I was skeptical that this water filter would work although it says it replaces the LG fridge water filter Model LT500P. It installed effortlessly, and is working just fine so far.

    This water filter does an comparable job. The only difference is that it allows less water to flow through to the spout and this takes a few seconds longer to fill a cup with water. I like the savings of almost $20!

    I purchased an LG fridge which has an internal water filter for the ice and water serving features. After 90 days, the unit alarmed that it was time to change the filter. The LG filter is $50.00. The Insignia filter is $30.00. This is a an obvious choice. Both filters have the same specifications, the only difference is the name on the label. I love the LG fridge, I don't like getting ripped off on the water filter!
