The filter that came with my Amana fridge only lasted a few months and was not easy to extract. However, the new filter was easy to install and seems to be lasting. Does a great job..Water tastes great! Ordering was easy on website

Second time using these Insignia water filters for our refrigerator, very reliable.

I had a bad experience with a Wal-Mart brand water filter so I was skeptical about this Insignia one. But I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. It is identical to the manufacturer's filter but I can get 2 of these for the price of 1 manufacturer's filter. Easy to install. Couple of tips - soak the filter in a cup/bowl of water for 15 minutes before installing as it helps prevent air build up in the water line. Also, run 2-3 gallons of water after installed to get any loose particles out of the water line. Highly recommend and will buy again!

Fit perfectly, and immediately went to work, picking up where the old filter left off at the end of its useful life. On my Jenn Aire refrigerator, simply insert, twist, and close. Then run the refrigerator water to bleed out the air. Painless. And provided in a convenient two-pack. Only drawback is that it had to be ordered and In-store pick up at Best Buy is difficult.

Even though this filter says that it is "for select Maytag refrigerators", this part is compatible with my Kitchen Aid french door refrigerator. This is comparable to the brand name filters, but at a fraction of the cost. The best part was my local Best Buy had it in stock! The filter installed easily and no complaints so far!

Thought I’d give the insignia brand refrigerator water filter a try. Well, let me tell you! I bought 2 of them, for less than I would have paid for 1 of the manufacturers brand. The quality and fit are equal, if not better than the manufacturers. Insignia never lets me down.

These are very easy to install, just follow the instructions. Priced well, and last more than 6 months. I brought my old filter in to compare, and I was greeted right away and the associate even grabbed the new filter and took my old one to throw away. Great service.

I've used these replacement filters for many years in 2 different refrigerators and have never had any issues with them. Easy to install and seems to filter well. Much cheaper than the OE filters, too.

This Insignia brand filter is a perfect replacement for my Kitchen Aid Refrigerator. Considerably less than a "brand name" filter. The filter comes with easy to understand instructions that make it a snap to install. Good product!
