Turbo Tax has changed over the years. I purchased the software the first year it came out on at least a dozen disks. As Turbo Tax matured, it became easier. A video help system was added around the mid 90's. Unfortunately, that useful feature was removed from the product. The last several years you could fill out your taxes online. TurboTax Home & Business has everything you need to file taxes for business. Don't squabble over versions if you have a small business. This version will save you more $$$$$. Once you install Turbo Tax 2015, you will be prompted to update your software. There will be many free updates till the deadline. This program was one of the first to check for updates and execute them on its own - no mess. I recommend going with this software. They were the first in the consumer tax space and learned to make many improvements over the years. No program is perfect. But Turbo Tax comes close.

I've been a TurboTax user for 3 years now. I have a small business that is not making big money. I got tired of paying a tax preparer $500 to do my taxes so I bought a copy of TurboTax and to my surprise it was easier than ever and I got the same results as paying a tax preparer. After you use Turbo Tax the first year the following years a large part of your information is pre entered in relevant areas or software will ask you to revisit these items. TurboTax definatly made it easy getting over that intimidation of doing your own taxes. The software also has Q & A help to answer your questions. I've yet to find any question that wasn't covered.

I use this product instead of Quick Books because several of my banks will download to Quicken but not to Quick Books (why?). The business section does not have an equity section because it assumes a sole proprietorship so to set up a contributed equity section or a retained earnings section it must be set up as a liability. The result is a liability total that is not just debt. The benefit is that you can then get a real time YTD earnings and balance sheet. Separating out personal accounts from business accounts can be a little tedious, but makes sense. The personal accounts are not included in the business calculations. However to include them in the business calculations you are forced to choose a tax schedule with which to associate them. I find this to be an unnecessary burden. My biggest complaint is that when the program downloads to an investment and tied cash account, it assumes that all entries downloaded will be reconciled even if they do not occur during the reconcile period. The result is that you cannot keep your accounts up to date until you reconcile the account. If you accidentally enter a transaction after the reconcile date, but before it is reconciled, you must manually delete and re-enter the post reconcile date transaction (after you figure out which transaction is causing the problem). This has been an issue for at least 3 years and has been a regular source of complaint, but Intuit has ignored the issue.

That's what I like when doing my taxes, Simple and Easy. Quick entry and ease of navigating through the forms or allowing the program to ask the relevant questions in order to complete my taxes is what I like about Turbo Tax. And they constantly update the forms and software for any issues.

You can buy cheaper software do your taxes, buy Turbo Tax is an in-depth program and would not recommend any other. It will ask about every tax question possible, give examples, explanations, and allow for help if necessary. If you made a mistake: you can change it before sending the form to the IRS. It also checks the form prior to sending to ensure all entries have been entered and informs you of how high of a risk you are for an audit. This goes from very low to extremely high risk. Have used this software for over 15 years.

What i love about the software you can move at your own pace and you can go forward and backwards . if you completely finish it and after reviewing found something not right you can still go back. 1st year I use the software to create 1099 misc for a few contractors I use it for my bussiness llc and 3 rental buildings and personal all in one It walk you through. When i was having someone doing it years ago it look like they were using a simlar software but charging 5 times the cost.

For many years, I paid CPA to do my taxes, with TURBO TAX was much easier than with CPAs and a LOT cheaper, next year I will use it again. I use HOME and Business...

I have used Turbo Tax since at least 2002 and maybe before that even. It is so easy to use and I've never had a problem. It practically does your taxes for you.

Turbo tax is a great program for the homeowner with a simple return. It guides you through the process. This is my third year and have saved a lot of money.

With TurboTax it is so much easier to file tax returns and it lets you know possible deductions and credits you may eligible for.

Always use TurboTax. It's the best. Each year merges with the last. Very dependable.

I know no other way to do taxes than Turbo Tax. I have used it for more than two decades and completely trust it.

Well worth the purchase, easy to use and follow software for 2 returns, 1 simple and 1 fairly complex

I have been using TurboTax since it first came out and can't do my taxes without it! Upgrades always feature updates to the tax laws, great and very helpful videos and smart tips throughout, great inside the form access so you can see the detail you are entering and the Audit Checker and Test features are the best! No matter how complex your taxes may be year to year, this is the software you should check out and use to get it done!

I have used Turbo Tax - Deluxe for years. Last year (for the 2014 tax prep) they removed Schedule C -- People were very upset and Turbo Tax gave everyone a free upgrade. This year for (2015) you are forced to buy the Home & Business edition at a cost of $45+ MORE in order to get a Schedule C. I do not need nor use any of the other "business" schedules! Other than that, a good product and easy to use. Next year, however, I will investigate what H&R Block has to offer and compare pricing.

This product is amazing worth the value and step by step instructions great tax software.

Turbo Tax makes doing taxes easy. I like the interview style process that walks you through all of the potential tax breaks that may be available to you. This helps to ensure that nothing is missed. The included e-file when completed worked seamlessly with my network. Nice to be able to do it all from the comfort of my home.

I use this software every year keeps all your info and finds all the deductions for you.

For all intend purposes this is a great program for a small business owner. It helps you understand your taxes and the price is a lot better than a tax service.

Turbo tax always works .. And is always available.. Not more I can ask for
