||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this adapter, and it didn’t work at all on one computer, then I tried it on another and it said it wasn’t identifiable by windows, then I tried it again a couple days later and it worked, but I think the cable was shorted out and it kept disconnecting.

The hub does not work. I plugged it in to my laptop and then plugged in a keyboard and mouse; neither worked. Then I tried each of them only one at a time and they still didn't work; my laptop gave a message saying something like "device not recognized". I will return the product.

Couldn't maintain connections

It's a bit annoying that the unit has to be placed so close to the PC, though I suppose you could use a USB extension if you absolutely need more cable length.

Just what I needed

I have my mouse, keyboard, speakers and printer connected to this hub and have absolutely no problems with any device. I don't know why one of the other reviewers had problems.

I put 1) Dell usb keyboard, 2) Microsoft wireless mouse, 3) 32gb thumb drive, 4) usb cable to charge my LG optimus elite (Virgin Mobile). All four works fine (yep, it charges a smart phone) and I don't find any issue. If I find some issue, I will update my review. So far, so great~~~
