Great speaker for chillin our doors. Sounds great . Haven’t really used the crank feature since it takes a while to charge that way but great feature to have for camping. Good size too. Wish the solar charger worked faster but also nice feature to have . Like usb charging feature for other devices

This is a good speaker it does great with Bluetooth, radio, and sound wise (has a pretty good base for such a being the size that it is). The only problem that I had was we bought it because if the power went out to have a back up batter but the battery doesn’t last very long before you have to recharge it but other than that it’s great.

I was excited to get this, I have a larger version that we love. this one is a nice compact size and sounds good but, something is wrong with the battery. It shows it is fully charged, but when you unplug it it won't work. I am waiting on the store to get inventory in stock so I can exchange it.

I bought this as another Deal of the Day bargain. At around half off, $60 it's acceptable. I wouldn't pay full price for this emergency radio. This emergency radio picks up FM and Weather bands fine. I've yet to pick up anything on shortwave yet after several attempts at scanning the entire band. It is solar charging capable but I couldn't tell you how well or if it works since the panel is small and sitting out for several hours in the sun didn't seem to make a difference on the vague 4-bar battery meter. Also, I couldn't imagine cranking the radio to get a sufficient charge into it to listen to the radio or charge a cell phone. This was bought mainly for emergency use that I hope I'll never actually need what it offers. I just exercise it every couple of months and recharge it to make sure it still works.

I like this wireless speaker because it was green and had 4 option to charge it. One of the option didn't work. The battery wouldnt stay charged after plugging up after 8 hours. It sounded rear good. Didn't get a chance to test out the charging by the sun, or hand cranking.

It is pretty good when it works. It took me almost a week and a half to get through the same issues others had with the battery. Right out of the box it wouldn't hold a charge, although when you plug it in it said it had a full battery. When you unplug it if would go to low battery level and then die out in about 10-15 seconds. Because I read other reviews, I Left it plugged in constantly, took it outside in the sun for hour sunrise til sunset. Etc. One day when I uplugged it I noticed the battery light stayed on for a little bit i think. I turned it on and low and behold it had a full charge without being plugged in and work for a whole day at least. So far it's been working, and I had if working for about 2 weeks now. Finger crossed.

Has a sturdy/durable feel to it and has alot of cool features however the one I got was dead on arrival. The battery wouldn't hold a charge AT ALL. I kept it plugged in for a few hours to give it time to charge but when I unplugged it then tried to turn it on: nothing. Tried winding the lever and it didn't appear to do anything either. The only way I could get this thing to power on was to keep it plugged-in but it would die immediately if unplugged. Pretty much defeats the purpose of this device since it would be useless in the case of a power outage... I ended up returning this and buying something different.

I'm very happy with this purchase, I needed a reliable speaker I can carry anywhere. Pros: Small design, rugged, water resistant, built in radio, built in solar unit battery charger, cranking lever charger, USB built in small devices charger and overall great sounding affordable speaker. Cons: No USB player

This rechargeable speaker is great. The SOLAR aspect is even GREATER. In fact, i just leave it in the sun all day while out by the pool and it stays charged. All day music. Great sound, too. Very rich, full spectrum sound. Whether using bluetooth or hardwired, it keeps the signal and just works.

So far so good. We have been using it outdoors and it JAMS! Easy to compete with the neighbors awful music choices. We charged it up fully with the plug and have been letting it charge by solar since. Haven't plugged in other electronics to charge from but will update if it doesn't meet expectations. Nice to know we will have a radio in an emergency that can be cranked.

Listen to speaker in my yard sounds good blue tooth works good and seems to be good quality speaker.

I hate to give a poor review but my first one worked great for 2 days then would not hold a charge at all. I returned it and they sent me a new one and this one won't even allow me to charge it. Not at all. Works great when plugged in...what a shame. Perfect size, sounds decent but 0 for 2 on the rechargeable battery.

This is great...when/if it works....i had to get it replace because the first one i bought like with the bad reviews listed the battery didn't hold a charge. Had to contact best buy support and have them send a replacement. The 2nd one I got works as advertised and i have no complaints. Just hope that what you get works the first time.

This is a great lil speaker. i have used it for numerous occasions. I recently took it to the drive-in movie. It functioned flawlessly! I am so happy to have all the options the radio offers. From radio, to weather, to bluetooth. Quality build also. It is a good deal!!

Everything is great on this radio (loud speaker, good reception, very good case, designed to be water resistant) but the battery and the related customer service. With a Lead-acid battery, if it sits (in the store?) for a long enough time the battery dies. It is replaceable, but my great sale price was not so great after spending an additional $30 on a new battery. Keep it plugged in when not in use (good for this kind of battery) so it will be ready for an emergency. I asked for a replacement from Ion through their website but they never got back.

I really like this thing. Peace of mind for emergencies but isn't just a "basic" radio. Battery lasts a really long time and it will charge your devices with usb port. Good sound and it's smaller than I thought which was great because I didn't need anything to shake the house. I would definitely buy it again.

Much larger than expected, should have checked the measurements. Seems well built and has a clean design. The light will serve more as a night light rather than providing illumination to see much. Controls are simple but not necessarily intuitive. Bluetooth will connect automatically with phone when selected. Volume is very soft--definitely won't get shut down for a noise violation. The principle value in this device is bluetooth functionality combined with solar, and hand crank power options and NOAA weather reception.

This is the ideal portable Bluetooth/radio for the outdoor type. Solar and hand crank means it can never die on you, EVER! Plus It's very loud for its size and waterproof to the natural elements (rain, dew). Perfect for attending drive ins because of the FM radio. Very pleased.

The AM and the weather station really lacks for reception... the light is just ok (probably great if sitting in the a dark)...but overall I would give it 3.5 stars so I rounded up... it works great as extra speaker and charging other devices...got a great special deal on it which also helps

This is one of the most versatile Bluetooth speakers you can find. Love the Solar and crank charging options. This thing rocks as a little amp for your guitar even! Excellent purchase as I even bought another one for a friend.
