Product works exactly like advertised. I attached it to the door of my 2025 Ram. There is a small smooth area right before the window that makes a triangle. Perfect for attaching my phone when I get in and out of truck. Not once has the phone fallen.

This magnetic phone holder is very easy to set up for use in the car. It fastened securely to the windshield and works great with an iPhone.

I have purchased a few of these. The mount firmly attaches to the dash or windshield and is very sturdy, with little to no vibration. The body is also very slim so it won't easily stand out in the driver's field of view. They have gone through a design revision at some point, where the old one would have the padding material between the mount and the phone sit just beneath the plastic body, which would leave a witness mark on phone cases over time; this is no longer an issue. I will say that the newer design has significant play in the telescoping arm, which allows the pad the phone sits in to rotate a few degrees back and forth - I fixed this by wedging a piece of the box in between the parts to act as a shim (it could also be glued if the mount's position is final); this lowers the overall rating.

It feels a bit fragile, but it works perfectly. No problems thus far.

The item is sturdy and should be able to mount in several areas such as windshield or dashboard. A magnet piece needs to be stuck to your phone case so it can stick to the main magnet on the holder. This wasn't stated online and the piece that sticks to my phone was too large for my case so I had to return it. If you have a flat backed phone case it should work great as the magnet system is very strong. I would have had to buy a different case to use this item.
