Didn't solve my issue

I find it obnoxious when manufacturers don't include parts like this with the original purchase. In this case, I ordered the trash bin and used the battery option until they seemingly needed to be replaced. (issue: when I waived hand in front of the senser, the lid would just barely open, approximately, 1 inch, and then I'd have to manually open it the rest of the way. Rather than get replacement batteries, I ordered this. While I have constant power now, the lid issue continues and this did not resolve that.
Another con with this is that you'll have to keep it nearer an electrical outlet as the cord isn't very long.
I'd probably get this again, since I am nearer the outlet, but only if the overall unit's price is discounted/on sale.

This is a must have for the trash can so you do not have to worry about replacing batteries. Best Buy price matched.
