Works as expected from day one. No problems at all. Just plug in and viola... you're in business. I use it with my MacBook Pro and a second monitor.

This device is "plug and play" in the sense that it is recognised easily by any laptop that I have connected it to. The only issue that I have had is that occasionally, if it put into a "tight" port, the casing can come off when you disconnect it from the laptop. It does snap right back into the casing but I fear that after too many times, it will lose the ability to stay in the casing.

I was in need of an adapter to connect my Mac Book to a Dell monitor. This worked as described and connected without any problems. I like that it comes with a cap to cover the mini display end of the adapter when not in use. Only gripe, I wish it was black so it wasn't so visible amongst the other cords. No biggie, the actual product works great.

Purchased this adapter because I needed a quick solution to connection issues. It has been well worth the purchase! Now being used regularly within the office and it has held up to the use and abuse we're inflicting.

Alienware 17R2 need to convert the Display out port to VGA, and this serves it's purpose! Great prices on them too. I purchased two of them.
