great choice when you have multiple usb drives or to play local multiplayer on a pc

j5create 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub is priced ok for what you get. This is my experience from using this from August 7, 2020: I'm kind of a bit disappointed though as I had several issues related to transferring files from drive to drive when connected to this hub. My PC would report about random disconnects halfway through transfers. It would also cause random disconnects resulting in what would look like a freeze using a wireless mouse or random disconnects listening to audio from a wireless headset. This is even with the power cord connected to the hub. Overall, I think its okay. All the ports did work and still do today. Going forward though, I think I'm opting out of buying any kind of USB hub as their reliability is mixed.

Right now, I keep 6 items plugged in at all times... the 7th slot is for when my husband brings in his flash drive and needs me to transfer something... I'm always doing something, so having 7 slots is Awesome!! Thank you So Much!!

This item worked well for me. The fact that it has an EXTERNAL POWER SUPPLY was helpful in that some of the devices plugged into this hub get their power via USB.

I have been looking for a 3.0 USB hub with more than 3 slots for a while now. With today's thinner laptops only having 2-3 USB ports, a hub is a must. This gave me more options at my office location where I have multiple things needing USB ports. No more unplugging to switch items.

Best 7 in USB Hub ever! I do Recommend buying a Small fan as this device tends to get hot after 30 minutes of use.

Good value. Works with stuff that can handle the noise, but sensitive things probably need plugged right in the computer.

This is a good unit. It's pretty small and works well for what I need it for, but missing a power indicator to let me know it's getting power. Also, because of it's small size, the power plug is located very close to the usb connection that goes to your computer... Not really a problem, depending on your setup. Overall, works great.

Geek squad member was awesome! She was very diligent in fixing the and replacing the wrong part purchased and getting it to work. GREAT service by my Geek squad technician.

I have this used for my backup systems for my photography business. My only concern is that since it's powered (which is optional I do believe) it keeps the external HDDS on all the time when they're plugged in to this unit. Which is fine- just something I didn't realize when purchasing.

Could be better. I feel like you can get something way better for it's price.

Speed is good. Fast charging is nice. Doesn't stay connected, and I have frequent disconnects- but when it works, it's great.
