The unit I was using had a couple of failed ports, so needed to purchase a new unit. With this addition to my workstation, I have plenty of USB ports available.

Posted .Needing more USB ports than what a computer has can be a headache and that is why the JUH377 Hub is so popular; it's 7-Port USB design allows for connectivity of mice, flash drives, webcams and more all in one device. We appreciate the positive input!

This fits my needs and works great. Data transfer speed with the USB 3.0 ports is great too.

When docked, only the usb C and 1 usb A port are able to be used. I only use the usb 3.0 cable as I do not have any devices that need charged. I've only used 3 ports out of the hub so far.

The only downfall is this is all USB ports and does not have a variety of ports types available.

This one is fine, does the job and arrived promptly. The keyboard comes with the computer so you do not need to purchase an additional one.

Decent for a year

Worked great for a year and then it started to malfunction -speeds suffered -it killed 2 hardrives whether if it was disconnection or bad power regulation -it started to disconnect all the time even during transfers and would either corrupt the drive or the files. - it cannot handle more then 4 or 5 external HDDS at a time or else it will disconnect causing all the drives to either disappear or reconnect all of them at once which is really scary when you have alot of files you have to work with (power brick included) I was really angry at how bad the quality of the parts were considering the brushed aluminum casing is excellent

Posted .Over time, if a hub is overloaded with multiple power-hungry devices like hard drives, it could degrade its performance. The internal components could be struggling with power regulation.
Try limiting the number of high-power devices connected at one time to see if performance improves. If the hub has a dedicated power brick, ensure that it is supplying adequate power. Each external hard drive requires a significant amount of power, especially during data transfers.
