Decent hub I just wish the power and USB cords were much longer.

Works perfectly! I keep it plugged in and get no delay. I use it for plugging in extra drives for Chia plotting. Response time is important in farming and I’ve had no issues whatsoever.
Hello, I'm glad the Hub works great with your other devices that are connected. Thank you for your review. Cordially, j5create.

We purchased a new computer and decided to nut a new keyboard as well. This one is fine, does the job and arrived promptly. The keyboard comes with the computer so you do not need to purchase an additional one.

I bought the usb hub due to a laptop that only has 3 usb ports, 2 usb A and 1 usb C. When docked, only the usb C and 1 usb A port are able to be used. I only use the usb 3.0 cable as I do not have any devices that need charged. I've only used 3 ports out of the hub so far.

I bought this for $35, and while its definitely a very good USB hub, I feel like I could've gotten another at a similar quality for cheaper. I don't regret my purchase, however. I also appreciate that one of the ports is on the side of the hub.
I'm happy to hear that this has met your needs. I'll pass your feedback onto my team so that they can be made aware and we can continue to improve our devices.
Thanks, j5create

My little laptop only has one USB connector, which is sub-optimal when i want to use an external mouse, flash drive, and portable monitor... all of which need USB connections. The portable monitor I have is powered via USB, so I wanted something that could provide power, and this hub does the trick.
Supports USB bus-powered or DC self-powered for power hungry USB devices

Nice Design, Glitchy Use

Overall, the design seems solid. Durable and sleek. The over 3 ft USB cable was just long enough to have this sitting out of the way on my desk. All of the ports on my computer are used up so this was desired to make it easier for me to hook up what I needed when I needed.
Unfortunately, I seemed to have issues with this thing disconnecting devices from the computer at random. While working with a portable hard drive, the drive would randomly disappear on my computer. I would have to unplug and replug it back in to continue working. It happened enough times to be more than just a fluke. And it happened on more than one port of the device. I have two other external drives that stay plugged into my computer for my wife to work on photos. They would randomly disappear as well. My wireless mouse also seemed glitchy when the dongle was plugged into this device. Almost stuttery, which is not good when gaming. Even my mobile card reader gave me issues with this device.
Overall, I wanted to like this device. The glitchiness with every device I had plugged in, when those same devices work without fail in the ports on my computer, made me choose to return this.
When connecting a high power-consumption external HDD or USB device that requires bus power of more than 400mA, we recommend that you attach a AC/DC power adapter. We advise no more than one (1) bus-powered/portable external hard disk drive to be connected to the USB hub at a time. Another option is the JUH370 7-Port USB 3.0 Industrial Hub with ESD and Surge Protection.

Have had a love hate with this device. On a MAC laptop it would always kill my wireless networking, had all the latest drivers installed etc. Now using it only on a late model iMac with no issues

This product is great and makes your screen where those sitting next to you can't see it. I originally bought one for my wife's iPhone and she loved it. No longer do you have to worry that the person sitting in the airline seat next to you being able to see your screen.

Very convenient size to keep on top of the desk; doesn't take much room and keeps me off the floor under my desk. Manufacturers do not add sufficient USB ports for a WORKING desktop.
Would definitely recommend this item.
Not enough USB ports for gadgets can be frustrating to work with due to constantly disconnecting to insert the other. With the JUH377, you instantly augment 7 ports - simply plug it in and done. Cordially, j5create
