I should have read the description better, I suppose. Ended up buying a 5-Port USB CHARGING hub by the same brand that better suited my needs. Hopefully i can save the next gal from making the same mistake.

Posted .Hi Blade319, the JUH377 hub is the perfect device for those wishing to connect mice, keyboards, flash drives to the computer without having to use all of the computer built in USB ports. We apologize for the inconvenience the flash drives next to each other may have caused as it is something to be adjusted in the near future.

Posted .Having more ports to connect accessories to is always welcome; with the JUH377, you can now use up to 7 peripherals at once eliminating the need of disconnecting one to plug in the other - operating at 3.0 speeds ensure optimal performance.

Posted .Hey Petri, the charging port supports fast charging for smartphones, tablets, iPad up to 2.4A. The HDD may require more power therefore connecting to a computer is recommended. Respectfully, j5
