Posted .Purchasing an adapter that is not compatible with your Mac is never the best feeling. We apologize for the misinformation, inconvenience this may have caused. The JUH377 is compatible with Macs; it is possible that if you only have USB-C, there may not have been compatible ports on your computer. In this case, we recommend the JCH377 which connects via USB-C. Feel free to contact support on the packaging for further information and an agent will be glad to help.

I have 5 USB products attached to my ASUS laptop and they work when they are configured in a certain order and location between the laptop and J5.

Ports stop working

To expensive and does weird stuff

When I tried to return it, I was told it could not be returned because I exceeded the 14 day return policy. During this pandemic, I was trying to limit my exposure. I waited until my next store pick up was available to return this item in store. I am sure this device works great, but it was not the item I needed. I was not satisfied with the 14 day return policy, because I tried to return it about 1 month after and I was denied. I think your return policy should be extended from 14 days.

BOTH of the first two had to be replaced after 2-3 of the 7 ports died within the first 4-5 months of use. I've only bought the third one because it was the only option available from Best Buy at the time, but I'll be switching brands once this one inevitably breaks as well.

AC Adapter died in a month or less

Only plugged in keyboard/mouse/headset not external HDD/SSD, so low power consumption accessories. Wanted to give this a try as I was in no particular rush but for longevity, definitely going back to Anker products and similar brands, those last a lifetime (in my experience).

An infuriatingly disappointing product.

I looked online, and it is a known issue for this model, with no known resolution, except to return it and buy an A-k-r or a S-br-nt, like I should have done in the first place, instead of being impatient/impulsive and buying this in the store.

Frequent disconnects

Not intended for use as power station.

Device only applies power to attached devices if it is plugged into a USB 3.0 port of another device. I am sure this was intended and have found an alternate use for these. This is by no means a standalone USB 3.0 power source.

Posted .For high powered hungry devices, we recommend the JUH370 7-Port USB 3.0 Industrial Hub with ESD and Surge Protection. The JUH377 can only do so much when it comes to multiple external HDD's per USB ports. Cordially, j5.
