The only downside is that it requires an external power adapter (included) which adds to the mess of wires on our desk and takes up another outlet on our power strip, but the upside of that is we generally don't have to worry about the power requirements of the devices connected to the hub (within reason). Overall, the build quality is great and it functions perfectly, so I'd recommend it.

Now my pen my card reader my externals and my wireless mouse are always connected great but at Bestbuy!

Impressed with this product but seems a little expensive to me. Works great, reliable, and even comes with an additional power cord to help with electricity by getting it from the wall instead of the PC.

Powered by a separate AC adapter, it may steal a plug location but allows you to connect any device that needs that extra boost of AC current...

Cost a little more but really has worked best and I love that has 7 ports. So after buy cheap ones over & over again cuz that stop working THIS HAS BEEN A GREAT BUY!
