Overall, the hub performs as I would expect. The one negative opinion I have on it is that the ports are too tight. This will probably improve with time and use, but it can be difficult to plug into or remove from. It’s not bad enough to warrant a return, but is a touch inconvenient at times.

Expands my USB device abilities. This device works perfectly for me. It helps me take one USB port that is hard to get to on my desktop and allows me to easily plug/unplug in multiple devices with ease.

Works well just make sure you plug it in for the external power supply for your portable hard drives. It recognizes all my USB drives and external HD and the speed is good.

This thing is awesome. I use it plugged into a power outlet to reduce strain on my laptops power supply and it works great! Many outlets for use with many things. Two thumbs up for JLab

This is the best hub I have purchased and I have about 6 or so. It is extremely well made with a long tough male cord for plugging in to my pc. It jas a slim form factor so it doesn't stick out as an eyesore. Speed charges and supports USB 3.0 very well.

I needed a simple and inexpensive USB 3.0 hub. This one fit the bill and works just fine for my needs. Is a powered hub, which ensures enough "juice" to charge devices as well. Simple, easy, and inexpensive. If that's what you're looking for, this should work out just fine.

I bought this to be able to use a printer scanner, wireless mouse, and two storage items, all old, like 5 - 8 yrs. to a new Mac with the new C-type connectors. Works perfectly. I was moving from a 2010 Mac Mini.

The j5create - 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub in Black is a great purchase for any computer. There are a number of similar type devices manufactured by other companies. But when it comes to price and ease of usability, the j5create - 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a great deal.

My work laptop doesn't have enough ports and this really comes in handy for working from home. Now I have more than enough ports for monitors, mouse and keyboard. A must have for new laptops with a few ports.

Since purchasing a new computer, I needed some extra USB ports and this item fills what I needed with seven additional ports. It does what was expected at a reasonable price. Added thanks to the Best Buy employee who was both professional and helpful in the purchase.

This is super nice and it’s works as expected. I did have one problem with it. It would be laggy with my razer huntsman elite keyboard. But i still works in the end. It came with a power cord but I don’t know what it’s for.

I got this to add more USB capability to my desk top computer. It completely helped. It was an excellent idea. Additionally, there are many products that I can plug into this (which is more conveniently located than the back of my computer.

Powered USB hub works well MacBooks and MacMinis alike. The only thing it is lacking is a USB-C to USB 3 Micro-B cable, requiring us to add an adapter.

Perfect to help expand your laptop to a regular desktop feel with just one usb connection. Attached a keyboard, mouse, display, etc... so now it is is to be on the go with my laptop or sitting at home in my office.

Easy to use. Just plug and play. I have had no problems using it. I'm amazed at how many things can work at the same time plugged into the same USB port.

I was always plugging and unplugging my external drives. I bought this device and now I got shortcuts to all my drives and no more unplugging. I even had room to hookup my phone and tablet for charging.
