Expands the slots, I can’t tell any noticeable downgrade In speeds so it gets a pass for me

With 7 USB ports, there is plenty of space for all my peripherals, so there is easy uncoupling or hooking up with my laptop. Works well & saved time. Just be sure you check for compatibility of the USB portw with your computer,

I use this item with my laptop, to run many more USB 3.0 items than my laptop can handle. Tried the docking station, but this works much better than the j%create docking station did.

So glad they make these devices. Love mine, No issues and works like its suppose to. gets a little warm at times but I think that is the nature of it.

Was originally going to buy the 4 port hub because it was on sale but then saw this one. The extra ports are nice and overall this is a handy hub to have for my laptop. I would recommend it.

This 7-port hub allows me to connect my 2 external hard drives, dvd player, external keyboard and also transfer files from sd card to laptop--and still have room for 2 more devices.

Have a USB 3.0 hub to plug into. Nice too. Now I set my laptop up and span my monitors into it via USB. I can plug in my back up drives, and my phone, and DVD player. Lots of uses for this thing. Very practical if you have a laptop for traveling (work) and want a traditional office monitor and like to spread out and not peck away on the keyboard of the laptop. Hubs are always an after thought but I am glad I thought this through before I brought the laptop home. 32 inch monitor in the corner, laptop 3 feet away so I can work on the wireless keyboard facing the screen while doing a VTC (video conf call) from my side. When I VTC, I face the laptop so I am dedicated to the customer. Overall good piece of gear for extra items (it has 7 ports).

Great usb dock. Low profile, aluminum case that is sturdy. Can charge with pc or included power brick. I have one and am purchasing another.

This hub has a sleek and refined design; it looks and feels sturdy and well made. It comes with the AC adapter but it is optional, I am running 7 devices without the adapter and it still works like a charm. I definitely recomend it.

It is the second one I have purchased. My original one was working so great at my home office I decided to buy one to use at my regular office.

Purchased several USB hubs in the past. Thinking they are basically all the same, have had intermittent problems with all of them. This one is working fine and having its own power is a plus. I would recommend

There are 7 powered ports. I use this for daily/weekly/monthly backups of documents to USB flash drives. Also provides charging ports for other devices, cell phone, iPod, fitness tracker, etc. Very convenient device!
