I needed more ports. This item works well, meets the need and yes, I would buy it again!

Great hub and easy to use. No driver type setup required - just plug in the power supply and then access the device normally. Did minimal comparison in the store and this product provided more USB slots, supported the same speed and was $15 cheaper than the next highest rated product. Definitely small enough to travel with easily.

The J-5 is reliable and works great. I have 3 really big external drives plugged into it and no problems at all. No dropouts or anything like that. Very dependable.

Many laptops and tablets are only equipped with a single USB port. This portable hub works great allowing me to charge my phone and earbuds while connected to other devices. Easy to set up and has been flawless over the past month of heavy use.

I own 4 of these units for different computers in my home. Two setup on my Sim Racing computer for different peripherals, one for my editing computer and one for travel. They are super units that I've never had an issue with any of them. They will not do you wrong.

This is an item that won't sit around unused. If you are like me with a laptop with only 2 USB ports I port has a wireless plug for my mouse and that only leaves 1 usable port. The j5create will solve that problem with 7 USB 3.0 ports. It comes with an ac adapter which you will need. The j5create is well built with a sturdy metal enclosure I would guess it is aluminium with a nice black matte finish. It will probably outlast the USB technology, it's that well built. I have had all 7 ports plugged with external hard drives just to see if it would really work. It worked just fine with my old laptop. I was so pleased with the j5create that I bought another one for my Desktop, I can't imagine ever running out of USB ports. It is also backward compatible with USB 2 and works with my Mac as well. This is money well spent, in my opinion.

Good: clean design, provides needed power. side socket So-so: included usb plug and power adapter was a bit short for my use, the hub slips around I had the grandiose plan to plug all my USB devices through one hub and make my desk look "clean". I failed. The hub provides convenience in that I don't have to reach to the back of my PC to fish for a USB port. I still have the same number of cables scattered on my desk in addition to the hub's USB and power cables. I wish the hub included a rubber padding on the bottom or a double sided tape to prevent it from slipping around.

My program…Flight Simulator has many add on devices. This hub is essential. No problems with devices or conflicts

EASY TO INSTALL. COMPACT DESIGN AND INEXPENSIVE. WORKS GREAT. 7 PORTS WAS VERY HELPFUL.

This little hub adds 7 extra usb 3 inputs to my iMac and it works flawlessly. Since I began working from home and streaming the number of peripherals hooked up to my computer increased rapidly! So with this I was able to free up all but one of my mac’s usb 3 slots and still be able to use my thunderbolt slots when I need them. So far I have a usb microphone, two harddrives, a streamdeck xl, and still have three open slots for other peripherals. I plan on adding an elgato hd60 and hd60+. I haven’t tried running my dslr through the hub, as ecamm recommends connecting cameras directly, but it might work as well. Overall, I’m happy with this unit. It’s thin enough to hide behind my imac and provides plenty of inputs.

I purchased this J5Create 7 Port USB 3.0 Hub with my girlfriend. She needed a new USB port hub due to the fact that her old one doesn’t have enough ports. She needed a bunch since she does graphic designing and is a streamer. So far, it’s working like a charm and she enjoys it. It has a nice sleek design that matches with her set up. The packaging was good and the device itself didn’t have any damages and hasn’t caused any problems so far. I would certainly recommend to get this in case you don’t have enough ports for your USB cables. It is certainly a ‘bang for your buck’ type of product. 10/10, would recommend.

J5 - I look for brands that have outperformed my expectations when I need something. J5 is one of them. This hub deserves respect!

Very easy to use. Attached it to the side of my desk and plugged in my printers and that was it.

Work very well in a slim design that fit anywhere you want. Plenty of ports and is truly plug and play. It is powered so it has plenty of juice to run or charge drives and even phones.

Small, compact, easy to transport and has 7 ports for all your computing needs!

I Love this !! I use it at work. I now have easy access to plug my things in without having to get behind the computer. The cord is the perfect length for me! I bought it to plug in my speakers, now I have a fan, oil aroma fan, wireless keyboard & mouse. still more room for other items !!

This thing is a workhorse, haven't had any issues with it thus far and am using it for 4 monitors in combination with the j5create usb to hdmi as well as a bluetooth mouse and and bluetooth keyboard.

I bought this because it has more than the usual 4 USB ports, which I needed, and didn't depend on an adapter for an outlet, and was reasonably priced. But it doesn't look like this photo, instead it's long and thin and doesn't take up a lot of space.
