Many laptops and tablets are only equipped with a single USB port. This portable hub works great allowing me to charge my phone and earbuds while connected to other devices. Easy to set up and has been flawless over the past month of heavy use.

This is an item that won't sit around unused. If you are like me with a laptop with only 2 USB ports I port has a wireless plug for my mouse and that only leaves 1 usable port. The j5create will solve that problem with 7 USB 3.0 ports. It comes with an ac adapter which you will need. The j5create is well built with a sturdy metal enclosure I would guess it is aluminium with a nice black matte finish. It will probably outlast the USB technology, it's that well built. I have had all 7 ports plugged with external hard drives just to see if it would really work. It worked just fine with my old laptop. I was so pleased with the j5create that I bought another one for my Desktop, I can't imagine ever running out of USB ports. It is also backward compatible with USB 2 and works with my Mac as well. This is money well spent, in my opinion.

Good: clean design, provides needed power. side socket So-so: included usb plug and power adapter was a bit short for my use, the hub slips around I had the grandiose plan to plug all my USB devices through one hub and make my desk look "clean". I failed. The hub provides convenience in that I don't have to reach to the back of my PC to fish for a USB port. I still have the same number of cables scattered on my desk in addition to the hub's USB and power cables. I wish the hub included a rubber padding on the bottom or a double sided tape to prevent it from slipping around.

EASY TO INSTALL. COMPACT DESIGN AND INEXPENSIVE. WORKS GREAT. 7 PORTS WAS VERY HELPFUL.

This little hub adds 7 extra usb 3 inputs to my iMac and it works flawlessly. Since I began working from home and streaming the number of peripherals hooked up to my computer increased rapidly! So with this I was able to free up all but one of my mac’s usb 3 slots and still be able to use my thunderbolt slots when I need them. So far I have a usb microphone, two harddrives, a streamdeck xl, and still have three open slots for other peripherals. I plan on adding an elgato hd60 and hd60+. I haven’t tried running my dslr through the hub, as ecamm recommends connecting cameras directly, but it might work as well. Overall, I’m happy with this unit. It’s thin enough to hide behind my imac and provides plenty of inputs.

I purchased this J5Create 7 Port USB 3.0 Hub with my girlfriend. She needed a new USB port hub due to the fact that her old one doesn’t have enough ports. She needed a bunch since she does graphic designing and is a streamer. So far, it’s working like a charm and she enjoys it. It has a nice sleek design that matches with her set up. The packaging was good and the device itself didn’t have any damages and hasn’t caused any problems so far. I would certainly recommend to get this in case you don’t have enough ports for your USB cables. It is certainly a ‘bang for your buck’ type of product. 10/10, would recommend.

Small, compact, easy to transport and has 7 ports for all your computing needs!

Had it for 6 months. No problems with it so far. It performs reliably and has a good variety of types of ports. Slim profile is nice, too, for slipping into narrow spaces. Wish it were slightly cheaper, but... que sera, sera.

Work very well in a slim design that fit anywhere you want. Plenty of ports and is truly plug and play. It is powered so it has plenty of juice to run or charge drives and even phones.

this hub is great for travel or home i used it while i was away for schooling and its been great. it is very light so use some double sided tape or buy something from best buy to hold it down the cords might make it move.

This is a solid device. I used it to connect my capture card, my USB microphone, and even an external hard drive that windows by it's self would not detect. It worked like a charm. It's small sits out of the way, and does what I need it to.

Works perfectly with no issues, had all the ports full for 8 months no problems.

Exactly as described— compact, powerful, great value

My computer only has 4 USB ports in the back. (There is a 5th on the side, but I leave that open for my thumb drives.) I had picked up another wired device and needed more ports, and this fills in nicely. It doesn't take up much room, so it is hardly noticeable; and it comes with a power cord, so that devices that need to be powered can be plugged into it.

I like this better than most, just due to amount of ports and it's metal on the exterior, not plastic. I know it doesn't probably make a difference, but it doesn't feel cheap and I have 6 ports populated with USB 3.x drives, with 2 drawing power from the hub. No problems with speed or performance using multiple drives at once. You get the slow down as expected to a single drive, but I can read from one and write to another with no noticeable impact. The included power supply is a plus as it's hard to figure out this a powered hub by the description.

I love using this hub for my pc. A lot of ports for me to use making this great for me. I keep nit only keyboard and mouse attached on this one but can have my direct drive base with whhel and pedals going for sim racing, charging my phone on it, and have a flight simulator joystick that i can keep plugged in as well. Affordable and easy to use.

The day I was in Best Buy Gretna location, service was fast and pleasant. The attitude of every clerk was friendly.

This is a great plug-and-play hub. Sturdy, low-profile construction and ample ports. I have five devices attached, and I am using this hub to easily switch between PC peripheral connections and XBox Series X mouse & keyboard functionality in shooters that support the control scheme. As far as I can tell, the XBox ignores the other connected devices, so switching back and forth is a snap. It just works.

I needed it because it has 7 port hub for my many usb sticks. I would rate it a 5 stars I am very satisfied with the performance, size of this hub.
