Makes 4k Video & Photo Uploads Easier

This is a must have for any heavy duty iMac user...no fun working from the back side. With multiple cameras and the need to upload large 4K video and photo files, this allows for multiple, easy access, and quick transfers. I would have given it a five star rating if it weren’t for a small glitch in the power port...not tight enough...but not a big enough of an issue to return the item. I most likely will purchase a third one for my other iMac.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My first USB 3.0 hub. This unit is compact, but very heavily built. It's specced as a perfect companion to a Surface 3, which requires a 2.4 amp charger. Most cheap chargers are only rated to 2.1 amp, which a Surface 3 will generally refused to charge from. Surface 3 also only have the single USB 3.0 port, so a 7 port powered hub that can also act as a somewhat speciallized charger is a fantastic fit. Also note that a 2.4 amp charger generally activates a quick charge mode on most tablets, so this unit is proving to be a very handy utility device to have around an electronics laden home.
