Needed a Powered USB in a Pinch

It has plenty of ports, is USB 3.0, and included an AC power adapter. I needed this in a pinch to fix some backup issues on a client's server this is somewhat old that lacked enough free USB ports. The server also was too old to supply enough voltage to power up any of our older USB hubs. So I needed a new hub that had an external AC power supply. This hub helped me get all our replication backup ext. drives connected at once, so that the backup software could cleanup old data chains.

The JUH377 7 Port USB hub is a great solution if you need extra USB ports. The hub even comes with an optional power adapter in case you need to use a USB device that has a higher power requirement.

A USB hub that actually works

This one is still working. AMAZING. That alone is worth five stars. Tranfer rates are fast. Just what I was looking for for plugging five portable hard drives into my computer.
