It was also a huge bonus to have a dedicated charging port as well as it's own power supply so i no longer worry about all of my accessories killing my laptops battery life. I haven't noticed any performance lag on my devices

I had my external HDs connected to the monitor and they would lose connectivity a few times each day. I was afraid the data would become corrupted. Since installing this USB hub and connecting my HDs through it, I've had no problems. I'm very relieved.
