Not enough USB Resource issue SOLVED!

It is constructed with a nice outer metal case. Having the option to use it a powered USB hub by plugging in the included wall adapter is a great option if you are using with any kind of Gaming set up that has alot of RGB lights. if you are using in an office scenario then you might need the powered option but with 7 usb ports at you disposal this might be a great way to clean up a mess office workstation.

Ok but not effective

It requires an external power cable that comes with it to power up, which is weird. There's plenty of USB ports after you connect. It's not ergonomic to set up because there's two cables coming out; one for power and one to connect to the computer; these cables may go in different directions depending on how your computer and outlet are located. Overall, it did not improve my gaming headset quality; made it even worse.

Prior to this, I had an Anker USB 3.0 hub purchased on Amazon. That unit started having trouble with my external drives (connected via USB-C). So I bought this j5create unit to replace the Anker, and the problems all went away. The j5create was more expensive, but the stability has been well worth the additional cost. I now own two of these.
