not as good as the first one to me, but worth seeing

My wife and I loved the first movie, which is why I was so excited for this one. But it was a waste of money and time. They took an original character, and twisted him into an amalgamation of other Tom Cruise action roles.

The original Jack Reacher was decent for an action flick. Mind you, I like action flicks, but I prefer they have a mildly reasonable plot. Reacher 2 is an absurd plot with fair action. Wait for it to go on sale for $6.99.

I had high expectations after watching the first Jack Reacher movie. I really enjoyed that movie. The sequel was a big letdown. I thought the plot was incoherent and boring. I wouldn't waste your time on this one.

I was a big fan of the first Jack Reacher. The story line was exceptional and looked forward to a sequel. However the second installment is full of holes and storyline is all over the place..It's just not that good.

Not as entertaining or smartly written as the first. Zwick is a fine enough director (Glory, The Last Samurai) but it’s really the story and script that lacks the depth and interest here.

I enjoyed the first one but this one is a skip. Overacting abounds that seems so forced its painful. I dont expect an amazing story in an action flick but wow this was pretty bad and so predictable.

This was on okay moving but not exactly my favorite. To many close up cameo shots of Tom Cruise acting via facial gestures. The first was better all around. A good rent but not buy.

I thought this story was a stinker, I couldn't get into to and therefore didn't really like the movie overall. I would recommend renting over owning this title!!!

I was a big fan of the original movie but this sequel is all over the place with a weak story, terrible pacing and just unexciting to watch for 2 hours.

Definitely not in the class as the first one, I was a little disappointed in this followup. 4K transfer was not one of the better ones I've seen.

The first was a good general action flick. This one was pretty bad. You're better of getting John wick if you haven't seen that

Cruse works as Reacher persona but not as Reacher six foot plus weapon that can't be bargained with. 1st one was better.

I am a huge Tom Cruise fan which is why I am so sad to say that this is a bad film. I really enjoyed the first Jack Reacher film and I was eagerly looking forward to the sequel. This film however was a huge disappointment. The story, acting, dialog, etc. was horrible. Honestly, this was a bad film. I would definitely rent this one before making a purchase.
