We just took it on our trip to Disneyland since my dad just finished cancer treatments and needed to take a mobility scooter. It fit nicely in the little locked storage box on the back and came in so handy - we charged our cell phones on it and then at lunch he charged up the scooter. It gave it a nice charge to finish the day. Very convenient.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE this item. Purchased October 2024. Charged unit when I brought it home. About 3 weeks ago power went out at 130am. Plugged cpap machine into unit with 100% reading. Woke up 5 hours later and unit had 74% battery remaining.. recommend :-).. review written September 9, 2025.

A little disappointed in how this loses charge while not plugged into anything. Overall it’s a handy device and does what we need it to without taking up a lot of space. Easy to fill back up either with a 100w solar panel, while driving or plugged in at home.

Super compact & light. Great product for every man who’s going to go to the camping or wilderness. To charge my old iPhone 12 Pro you use 3-5% battery per 1 charging. Immediately charging on 100W solar panel exposed on Californian sun in September.

This is my second Jackery, cuz I love it so much! Our power goes out frequently, and it is perfect for when you want to power a few things without turning on the generator. Also good for when you are away from the house and need power.

Really impressed with this relatively small battery pack. I bought it to power a dometic cooler while camping. Tested the setup by keeping the cooler and the battery in the back of a Jeep throughout the day. It would get through about a day to a day and a half on a hot day. Would highly recommend.

Purchased this Explorer 290 Portable Generator at a great price as we enter the season of winter storms. The small size was one reason for selecting this model, as we have minimal storage space. The unit came partially charged, and took very little time to fully charge plugged into an outlet. The percent charged is clearly shown. We charged a smartphone, with 97% remaining on the generator after. Have not yet tested charging our laptops, but given the remaining power after the cell, would expect the claims are accurate. This will not power a refrigerator in the event of power loss, but we will use it for a lamp and personal electronics in event of loss of power. Unit has an AC outlet, 12V car-style DC socket, and 2 USB Type-A ports. A solar panel kit can be separately purchased. Would have liked a USB-C port but an adapter easily addresses this.

I do a lot of outdoor markets and need to set up my tent with lights. This will keep them powered the whole day, plus I am able to charge my phones. I would definitely recommend!

Works. Weight: light enough for this arthritic old lady to carry, Only negative so far: like so many products, for some reason they make the on/off/control buttons the same color as the background (black on black) making it hard to see where those buttons are, improve by making it easier to see these buttons.

The generator works as promised. I have had it for about 2 weeks. The instructions says to either charge every 6 months or leave plugged in. I have chose to leave it plugged in. I like that the different inputs have their own on/off switch. I purchased the solar panel with it (together a daily deal). It’s nice to be prepared for power outages, and to be able to take it with me when I go, not worrying about needing electricity.
