Here are a few G R E A T things about this headset. * Outstanding for phone calls. I work in a fairly noisy environment and with other headsets callers were always complaining about background noise. NOT with these! You can hear your calls loud , crisp and clear ! Your callers can hear YOU not your background noise! Obviously if you work at a blast site they will hear noise but under most conditions these barely transmit background noise to your caller. I have tried numerous other brands of Bluetooth head sets and NONE have done as well as this set with voice calls. I am talking about Jabra Halo, Skullcandy Methods and Skullcandy Smoking Buds 2 . ...None of those compares in voice call quality. * These get L O U D ! Lots of other Bluetooth sets suffer from too low volume. These get nice and loud. Strangely , the volume of the headset MUST be adjusted on the headset itself. The volume keys on the I Phone do not adjust the volume of the headset. * Sound is very good. I mostly listen to the news and podcast . I am no audiophile but these are very acceptable. Deep rich tones and good Bass. I think most users will enjoy their sound. * The collar is very comfortable. The part that touches your neck is a silky plastic that feels great. The neck piece is soft and flexes easily. Great for larger necks. The unit is very light weight. * Build quality is very nice...I wish the buttons were bigger. * The Bluetooth light and the light for the noise canceling is in the inner right side. Basically cant be seen by other people while these are in use. I hate noticeable Bluetooth lights. * Bluetooth Range is on par with other headsets in this price range. I find it actually works best with my phone out of my pocket. * The Active Noise Canceling seems to work well. I tried it in the car and It reduced engine noise and road noise well. I tried it at work with music and noise cancelling and it was great at blocking out coworker chatter. You can go DEEP with this headset. You can use the ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLING option by itself without even being connected to a phone. * I had a another Bluetooth set from Jam in the past and I loved it. They were a cheap mini model. They lasted through 8 months of heavy use so I trust the brand. Here are a few things that I find annoying...Not deal breakers but things I wish were better. * The BESTBUY web site says these have 8 hours of battery life. The actual box says up to 7 hours. In real life I get about 6 hours 30 minutes. The low battery beeps only start like a minute before they shut down. It takes 2 hours to fully charge the headset. You can put on the charge to squeeze out a few minutes. * You cannot charge and use these at the same time. The Skullcandy buds allow use while charging ( you will have to reconnect to your phone though) *These have a battery saver feature that is very annoying. If you are connected to your phone but NOT actively listening to anything and NOT in a phone call these will drop the Bluetooth connection and shut down after 12-15 minutes. If you are ONLY using the Active Noise Cancelling they will ONLY drop the Bluetooth connection. This is a great set overall. Every single brand of Bluetooth earbuds has pluses and minuses. I have tried many brands in my search for a pair that would allow me to talk on the phone without excessive background noise being transmitted to my caller. These are the best I have found for phone call so I'm going to keep them.

The JAM - CONTOUR Wireless In-Ear Behind-the-Neck Noise Canceling Headphones work very well for canceling out noise. I use these for travel on planes and for the price, I would recommend this product. My only complaint is that after wearing the earbud for more than 3 hours my ears start to hurt because of the way they fit in my ear.

"Last for up to 8 hours" means you'll be able to listen to your tunes/podcasts/etc for pretty much that amount of time, just don't expect it to last quite as long with active noise cancelling turned on the whole time. Expect the battery life to be cut by at least half that time. As far as sound quality goes they are decent for what they are. I wouldn't expect a lot of bass but for the most part it's fairly balanced. The active noise cancelling works ok. It's most effective for cancelling out the background noise of spinning computer fans or the HVAC system of your office. It's not Bose QuietComfort level of noise cancelling but it'll take care of those ambient noises just fine. One star docked for battery life with ANC active. I'd dock another star for not being able to use these while plugged in to power but that kind of defeats the purpose of being wireless, doesn't it?

Sounds was good. Very lightweight, nice to wear. Noise cancelling was somewhat adequate. It's not Bose-like nc, but it doesn't have the price tag either. My problem was with the Bluetooth. If you put your phone in your pants pocket, the sound gets choppy. I can deal with that. My biggest disappointment was that I cannot hold conversations on the phone. I tried everything because it could be the phone or signal. But I was finally able to conclude that it was the earphone. I needed a headphone that can multi task.

These earbuds have good sound. The reason I gave them a 3 was because they didn't retract and all of the controls where on one set of buttons. They need to separate the phone and music controls. The buds didn't have anything to attach to. They just hung down waiting to get caught on something.

Nice ear buds but too large for my small ears. They will not stay in my ears. If I hold them the sound is very good! Must return..so sad! I would recommend if they fit your ears!

Great for truck drivers, like myself. These earphones, are by far the best, I've purchased. The background noise cancellation is awesome. Only downside is, not having the product at truck stops.

These produce better quality sound and MUCH better noise cancelling than the $200 JBL I tried. First pair lasted about a year and a half with pretty extensive use. Can't say I took very good care of them. Used mostly while mowing, operating chain saw, and other outdoor work. After a year and a half of abuse the noise cancelling stopped turning on. 2 weeks later the left speaker went out. Tried to resolve via BB since I had the extended warranty. They didn't have any in stock so I bought a pair of JBL for $200 thinking it'd be an upgrade. I was mistaken. Checked BB website and they had more of the JAM Contour but for less than half price. I ordered 4 new pair and returned the junk JBL. Sound quality is fairly close between the two but the JAM were certainly louder. Since I shoot a lot I like to use the noise cancellation feature of these. The JBL lacked actual NC but had no trouble providing a mic'd ambient noise that was 100% opposite of what I was after. JAM Contour certainly proved to be the better choice.

Connected to my iPhone 8, Audio sounds Great!!, Noise cancelation is great! Mic quality for making calls seems low for the people I am talking to about 50% of the time. Another thing is these headphones will auto shut OFF after a couple mins. which means you have to go through the process of turning them on, which is about 8 seconds. I called the manufacture and you cant turn off that function.

good sound,but they didn't last long,maybe 10mths

it works well for my kids needs and i love it because i don't have to hear their music.

These headphones are just great. Easy to use and the noise cancellation is great.

The noise cancellation is much better than fair. It's actually good, but not quite what I need. I will order another type in the future. I am keeping this one because my grandson can use it.

Bought these for my husband so he could wear them jogging. He says they are comfortable, stay on well and have good sound for jogging buds.

I bought two of them for my mom and me . It is very light and has a powerful sound .

where do I start. it doesn't have active noise cancellation as they advertise. started having trouble in less than two months. charge doesn't last more than 2 hours at best. having trouble connecting to the phone via Bluetooth. drops connectivity.
