Works great at keeping me motivated throughout the day to accomplish my goals. Tracks steps, heart rate, sleep, and gives suggestions based on your readings throughout the week. My only issue has been getting it to charge. Sometimes it seems like it just doesn't line up on the charger and it doesn't register the band. My husband and I each have one--keeps us competitive and working towards our goals.

The jaw bone is great at tracking movements, food intake and sleep. Actually, the sleep feature is my favorite. I found some of the features not user friendly....band unhooks during movement, falls off easily. There is no "face" to this tracker, so its difficult to see the modes easily...you have to use your smart phone to view status, steps, etc.

Better than my UP24 as the sleep tracking is great and heart rate excellent. Battery life does not go a week.

Have had my new UP3 band for about two months. Only problem I have seen so far is the battery life. It says it will last for seven days but I get, if I'm lucky, maybe four days. I upgraded from an UP24 band to this one because of its heart monitoring. Definitely like that aspect but the short battery life is a problem. I had 14 days of battery life on my UP24 so this is not good.

So far I am enjoying this new UP3. However I am having problems with it showing me step graphs on my iPad. Have been told by customer service they hope to solve this problem within 2 to 3 weeks. However for the last four days I have had to pair it with my iPad again every morning in order to get any information. I would not want to continue doing this forever but I am trying to give it every chance I can before having to return it because I really enjoy the info it is giving me especially the heart beats per minute at rest. I had the UP24 for almost 2 years and felt it was very helpful to me but this promised even more so I am willing to try it for at least two weeks before having to return it because of the time limit for returning.

Love this product. Lightweight, fashionable, pairs with my phone and gives excellent feedback as well as helpful tips. Best to charge in an electrical socket because when charging to my computer the battery doesn't last 7 days as it states.

I'm on my third version of UP's fitness band. (first one plugged into my phone for updates; second one updated wireless. ~They were slip on/ wrap style bracelet) UP has fixed the early design flaws (problems with the end program buttons for slip on bracelet, shrinkage of band material {medium over time became size small}) with the new adjustable band design. The app (no charge) provides an amazing amount of information. New, with UP3 you get resting heart rate (sleeping) as well as your passive heart rate (moving around). This is not a second by second tracking, but an average. The bracelet talks to the iphone (has android app version); you only have to take it off to charge it. I put it on the charger when in the shower. Water resistant, not waterproof. This product is a terrific for anyone who wants to keep track of all kinds of data: exercise, mood, food, weight and sleep. Can compare data against goals. Health coach can nag you if you let it. The UP/Jawbone people keep improving their product. Love, love, LOVE my UP band! Have had one on for about 3.5 years now.

This is my 3rd Jawbone. I have had three just because I like to have the newer and improved products as they rolled out and even my first Jawbone still works accurately. These products are all solid and so is this one. It does what it says it will and I know my steps are usually spot on. I'm not exactly sure that the heart rate is always as accurate as I wish but I do realize that type of reading on a wearable that moves on your wrist might not be able to catch a perfect reading all the time. Overall very satisfied with this product and would recommend.

I really like the UP3. I had read some comments about it coming unclasped, but I have not had any problems at all. It stays secure and is very comfortable (I usually forget it's even there). I really like the advanced sleep mode. The only criticism is sometimes the sleep doesn't add up -- I can record say 7 hours of sleep at night and add a 1 hour nap and it will say something like 6.5 hours. And no matter what I do (delete original sleep and add back in) it doesn't add up correctly.

Pros: Looks good, comfortable, tracking (steps, sleep, nutrition, exercise), "extras" (goals, smart coach, idle alert (there are other extras but I've not used them so I can't comment on them)) Cons: clasp loosens & sometimes comes undone, charger doesn't always recognize the tracker (I had to return my first UP3 but Jawbone replaced both the tracker & charger at no charge)

I love my Up3! I love how I can track my resting HR, sleep cycles, steps, workouts & food if I choose to. The food part is a little bit of a pain but not enough to take away from the rating. I love the challenges it gives me daily and reminds me that I haven't met my weekly step average, informs me of what to do to get my resting HR down to my average etc. The only thing that I dont like is that when I use map my run app in conjunction with this and I hike 9.15 miles, my band doesnt sync up to match that amount. It goes off of the steps it happens to catch because its on my wrist (which I know that it wont catch every step) and basis the mileage off of that rather than taking the map my run mileage. My phone also keeps up with my steps and it has been as much as 3k steps off when hiking. Again, I know that is the difference between being on my wrist vs on my hip/foot. If an upgrade comes up soon I hope that is a fix they can do something about! Outside of that I wouldnt trade my band in for anything! I have recommeded it to 2 of my clients at the gym & they have bought 1 as well. Along with my son & daughter in law!

I love this UP3! I've been using the UP2 and loved it. I started using the food tracker and have lost some serious weight and I evaluate food differently based on the scores. The app is motivational! I have an Apple watch and wear the UP3 right next to it. At the end of the day, the Apple products register about 1,000 steps more than the UP3, but either way, I'm loving it! The charge is a bit tricky, I charge it every 4 to 5 days. I will probably have to buy an extra charger for work just like I have done for all of my other electronics. I'm sure that is because I'm logging in workouts, water and food all of the time... When they come out with a new color, I'll have to get it!

I love the Up3. The activity tracking is spot-on and the intuitive assessments are excellent. I wear it all the time. It never interferes with my normal activities. The UP app on my iPhone is accessed first thing in the morning, all day long, and just before bed (becomes easily obsessive in a good way). The app/program gives great advice and learns about you as you interact with it...so you'll get more out of it the more your put into it. My only complaint is that the clasp is just ok...it falls off or disengages easily...to a point where it can easily be lost. I am constantly checking to make sure it is secure. Otherwise I am very happy with the product and app.

Keeps me on track. I really like smart coach it helps with accountability for sleep food and physical activity.. I find it fascinating how dead on the sleep part is between light /rem/deep. The steps are a little off sometimes based on when the treadmill says I hit a mile, but it's pretty close.

I decided to upgrade my Jawbone band with the new Up3. I had read very mixed reviews but decided to take a chance based on my positive experience with my old band. The Up3 does not live up to the hype that it is the most advanced tracker out there. It consistently has to be re-synced to my phone as it never seems to hold a connection. It cycles into and out of sleep mode during high intensity workouts. The resting heart rate detection is a nice feature, at least when it actually works. I'd say at least several times a week I will open the app in the morning only to be told that I forgot to put the band into sleep mode, but the funny thing is, I have never forgotten to do that. This leaves me with an inaccurate sleep total and no HR reading. Lastly, the battery life is supposed to be about a week but I'm lucky to get 5 days so I just recharge every 4 days. The last time I charged was 2 days ago and today I got a warning that my band had less than a day of life. I had been tempted to return the band within the 14 day period for returns but I am holding out hope that a software update could fix these glitches. Until then, I advise those (including friends, family, and coworkers) looking for a tracker to get the Fitbit HR based on my many friends who have that and love it. If the problems I've outlined are not fixed, Jawbone can count me as another lost customer as to future products.

I have the various versions of Jawbone's UP activity tracking products and I have always loved the sleek design, but this is by far my favorite. I received a Fitbit HR through a program at work and it is huge! If you like touting to the world you have a tracker on then maybe that's for you, but when I am at work in a professional environment, I would rather not have this 'manly' band around my wrist. Although you cannot view your stats instantaneously on the UP3 band itself like you can on many of the Fitbits, the software for the UP products is superior to the Fitbit products.

The Jawbone UP3 is a nice tracker. Better than the UP band. However the battery life is only a couple of days even though the instructions say it is 7 days, I usually have to recharge the band twice a week. Wish they would improve on that.

What i love most about this tracker is the minimalist look. It's stylish like a bracelet. I wear a smartwatch so I dont need that digital display. The software is really great. The heart rate only measures resting so that's a slight downfall. Steps are accurate and I love the LONG lifespan of about 6 days on this. I even bought some for my sisters and we can do step challenges and give each other motivation. I got it on sale for $50 great deal! I am a huge fan of Jawbone and the quality on this band is definitely Jawbone quality.
