Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the space-saving design and easy weight adjustment of the Kettlebell - Adjustable Kettlebell. They appreciate the great value for the price. However, some customers find the app buggy and are not happy that some features are locked behind a monthly subscription. Additionally, a few customers feel that the large size of the kettlebell may be less comfortable or convenient for smaller lifters.

This a great way to do a little lifting and get toned up. The system removes the need for multiple Kettle bell weights and saves a ton of space! I love the app and the way it tracks your progress over time. The base stand is also rechargable so your not tethered to just working out indoors. Take it to the park! The quality and over-all feel of this weight set is very premium and it feels rock solid.

    Great as an adjustable kettlebell

As an adjustable kettlebell, this item serves its purpose and I haven't had any issues with its responsiveness or trouble with the weights falling out (as some adjustable dumbbell horror stories I've heard). The subscription stuff if gimmicky and exorbitantly priced. Apple already suckered me into a Fitness+ subscription because I like the Apple Watch integration. Nordictrack has me locked into iFit -- the last thing consumers want is to pay another subscription fee (and an expensive one at that). Even with the free trial, the kettlebell didn't register my movements so my reps/sets sit at 0 in the app. The app tells me it's connected, but then when adjusting the weight from the app, it says I have to connect first. The weight and base have to be within 12 inches of a USB outlet and the included USB cable is thin/cheap. You have to wait a few seconds for the base to power on before you pick up the weight and you can use the side buttons to adjust the weight up or down. Since the app doesn't seem to work when the kettlebell base is idle, it's faster to adjust the weight manually. On the bright side, the unit takes up less space than if I were to purchase individual kettlebells for each weight option. If you're looking for a decent adjustable kettlebell -- this is a contender, but don't spend the extra money for the connectivity features or you'll be disappointed.

Adds a lot for the small floor space it occupies

The JAXJOX KettlebellConnect™ 2.0 - Adjustable Kettlebell is a handy addition to a home gym. Changing the weight at the touch of a button is so nice and convenient. It was very easy to set up and to pair with the app. I did accept the free trial subscription and so I do not know what the app offers without it. But I found the classes very easy to follow and like that it automatically tracked my activity whenever I started a class. The skills classes were great for me since I was unfamiliar with using kettlebells. The cord is short, but that is for charging and you can move the unit away and it will still work. I did not test it for how long the power lasts. A kettlebell may not be the first piece of gym equipment that comes to mind, but this makes it easy to use and adds a lot of variety for the small floorspace it occupies.

With COVID I have been building a home gym. Obviously space is at a premium. This device allows for a wide range of weights in a compact space. Solid build, easy setup, and the app can help with exercise options and tracking. Highly recommended.

I have a small home gym and space is at a premium. So, to go along with my adjustable dumbbells, I got the JAXJOX adjustable kettlebell. It replaced the 4 kettlebells I had and mission accomplished--space saved. It's a great idea and the different weight increments are easy and quick to select. Granted, the kettlebell is large. It kind of has to be to do what it does. But the size of this unit isn't really the issue. The app just isn't ready for prime time. I feel confident they will iron out the bugs and omissions, but for now it just isn't very good. That having been said, that doesn't change the quality of the hardware, and I still recommend this set to anyone in my situation where space saving is important. I would say buy it, and hope the app gets better. But if it doesn't, enjoy the flexibility of an adjustable kettlebell as I have.

The JaxJox has been great for working out at home. Its compact design has allowed for me to have a variety of different kettlebell weights in one compact package. The app has also made it super easy to track my workouts and my progress. Seeing my workouts laid out this way has been great for keeping me motivated. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to workout in the comfort of their own home.

The JaxJox Kettlebell Connect is a cool invention and is small/portable. It connects easily to wi-fi and the app downloads quickly. It appears that the initial purchase includes a 30-day trial for the work-out programs but every time I tried to use the program, I received an error message that my subscription was over. I tried logging in through my laptop by clicking the link that they sent me when I signed up and got an error message that my account could not be verified. I then tried logging in through their website and received an error message that my email address doesn't exist. After getting their technical support involved, I was granted 30-day access to the work-out program. Unfortunately 24 hours later that access expired. They offer subscriptions for $12.99/month which seems a little high, however if they offer a free trial you might decide it's worth it. Regardless of theses issues, the Kettlebell Connect can still be used for exercises. The app tracks your reps, and the total weight "lifted" during the workout. I really like the adjustable weights and the ability to do a 10-minute workout and really feel results! There are plenty of kettlebell exercises you can find online from easy to difficult. This is probably the easiest-to-use piece of exercise equipment I've ever purchased. It takes up very little space and acts like 6 different weights. The "bell" itself holds the different "plates" and the amount of weight can be changed with the simple press of a button. Even with swinging exercises the weights remain securely in place. Comes with a (short) USB cord but does not include a charging block so make sure you have one close by. This is a really neat product and I'm sure once they get the bugs worked out with the app and the subscription, it can be a "5-star review" product.

Having an adjustable dumbbell set, I have been waiting for a Kettlebell that I could also adjust. This takes it a step further and allows for digital and wireless weight adjustments. I am beyond pleased with this product. After losing considerable weight, working out is very important to me. Kettlebells are an amazing lifting and workout tool. The main problem with home weights is the need for several weight sets. This eliminates the need to have multiple kettlebells and truly serves as an all in one solution. I find myself using different weights for different workouts. I find myself using this consistently. I appreciate the option to adjust by the base as well as my smart phone. The application also has options for workouts and coaching. I will be using recommendations because the kettlebell has so many possible workouts. I have used it for basic lifting at this point but I look forward to learning much more. The setup takes very little room and this was very well done!

This is a really interesting idea, an entire kettlebell set all rolled into one small package. Not only can you easily switch between any weight kettlebell you need, it comes with a great app full of amazing kettlebell workouts. The Jax Jox pop latform really is something that can bring the workout to your home. My only complaint about this platform is the lack of a charger in the box. This seems like an unacceptable imitation from the package. To spend this kind of money on a smart kettlebell to have to supply your own charger is not he direction we should be moving. In the box: In the box you get a the smart kettlebell, the base and charging cable. The only thing missing is the charger. You get a USB cable but nothing to plug it into the wall. For the price of this thing, I can't believe one wasn't included. Using the kettlebell: Using the Jax Jox is easy. Just place it on the base, and select the desired weight, 12, 18, 24 36, or 42 pounds and get your workout going. The Jax Jox instantly adjusts the included weight plates to the desired weight. The app: The app works great. There are plenty of high quality workouts to choose that you can start to get the most out of your kettlebell. It does cost a monthly fee, but if you're in to class style workouts it may be the right option for you. Conclusion: Overall it's a really cool way to get a whole set of Kettlebells in a tight space. The lack of a charger is ridiculous, but the rest of the set is high quality and will be a great addition to your home gym.

OK product but app not ready for prime time

The kettlebell itself works fine. But without the app, it's just an expensive way to use kettlebells. The app doesn't work. I did several test workouts and it displayed my information but then failed to save it, so I can't track anything. I contacted their tech support and they found there's a glitch in the software that they "hope to correct within 2 weeks". There's no documentation whatsoever for the software either online or off. So you'll have to figure it out on your own, which isn't easy when it's not working properly to begin with. I kept trying to figure out what I was doing wrong or missing. Their website says the app will show your heart rate. But by their own admission, that's something they're still working on - it won't currently connect to HR monitors.
