The JBL L82 Classics are great "bookshelf" speakers, probably the best new product in this class of product available in 2020, but are actually too large for most bookshelves or other available furniture surfaces. What they require are stands that provide a stable base, angle the speakers appropriately for optimal listening, and can be positioned based on the dimensions and space available in a room. These are specifically designed to do just that. They're extremely solid, look great, and make a significant positive impact on the sound you'll be able to enjoy from your new speakers. They're also a bargain when you consider the benefit derived and the quality of design and build.

Extremely solid and well constructed. I used these stands for an old pair of Klipsch Speakers. They are the right height and the speakers were positioned nicely. There was no movement of the speakers on the stands. Well worth the money.

This stand is made for the 8” two way JBL speaker. You will probably have to modify it to fit other different sized speakers as I did. The powered monitors I purchased them for has the AC connecter too low. The back brace interferes with the connections. I spent a half hour scavenging two other speaker stands and adding isolation cones to create a remarkably sturdy and acoustically inert hybrid stand. As a foundation, the JS-80 is excellent. Relatively heavy and sturdy on it’s own. Be prepared to modify it unless you have the appropriate JBL speakers. Still, I can recommend them.
