Excellent just excellent. This bar really does it all. Whooshing surround, super deep rumbling bass, and the most impressive part, dialogue clarity. Cleanest sounding soundbar I’ve ever heard, best you can buy without rear speakers. Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed.

Unbelievable sound and easy to use. Once you have the Sonos system set up get ready to be impressed! Clean and pure sound and the subwoofer is amazing!

I was persuaded to get a Sony 2.1 system by the salesman when I was already leaning towards this system. I got the Sony home and yes it as a good value for a 2.1 system, it did not have the depth and bass I was looking for. I returned the Sony and purchased this and wow, what a difference. More watts, more speakers and way more bass. This is a great sound bar. Connection to HDMI (ARC) was easy. The only con I have is that the volume stops at 32 (Max). The Bluetooth connection to phone plays louder than feed thru TV. Subwoofer is behind the couch and when there is bass you can feel the rumble. Very satisficed with this purchase.

I have had this soundbar for over a week and when it works the sound is terrific. The problem is it frequently cuts out. For a while if I hit the HDMI button on the remote it would recycle and work again. But finally it gave up the ghost completely and I cannot get it to work at all. And when it stops working so does my TV. I had to dig through 4 pages of reviews before I finally got to see that many other buyers have had similar problems. You see Best Buy lists the positive results ahead of the negative ones. They should stop doing this and list all reviews in the order that they are received like other sites do (i.e. Amazon). Anyway, it's obvious to me that while some people have no issues and love the product, other unfortunates like me have defective ones. Defective is the right word because JBL must be aware that some of their soundbars work while others do not. They refuse to address the problem because they have decided that it is more cost effective to just let it go. They sell a lot of them and it's just too bad for the poor souls like me who get a bad one. So as I said when it worked the sound was terrific but ask yourself if you want to take the chance on getting a good one when there are other brands out there that are not defective? I will be returning mine but since I stupidly trashed the box I will have to pay UPS to re-box it as well as stand in line for an hour at the UPS store. Thanks JBL!!

I was looking for a new audio system or sound bar for my living room and all the ones I tested sounded ok but didn’t really stand out then I found this and wow absolutely blew me away the clearness of voices and deep bass are perfect 10/10 would recommend to all

Im not an audiophile but i am a bass lover. I knew JBL's bump and this does not dissapoint. I've had this for a week and if it blew up today i would buy another one. Most bass for the money

I was very satisfied with the quality of this soundbar. The subwoofer hits super hard if you want it to, and the bar itself sounds great at all volume levels. I have recommended this soundbar to multiple people in my family, its great!

Best bang for your buck when it comes to soundbars, went into BB and chose this over several other highly reviewed products. Highly recommend this product and the sound configuration.

Only giving it 2 stars because when it DO work it actually sounds good . This is the worst sound bar. I will be telling my husband to return these there is no reason why everytime i turn my tv on it automatically mutes itself AND the remote to it doesnt even work half the time i have to keep pressing bluetooth button over and over like this is terrible . I do not recomment these until they fix this issue

Overall great performing soundbar. Immersive for gaming and movies. Music sounds great as well. I wish adding rear speakers in the future was an option, but I was aware of this before I purchased.

Wow wow wow. Bought a returned one for 290. So worth it. So pure the sound. I would rather have this than Bose. Theater quality sound. Buy it you won’t regret it.

I had JBL soundbar before the 1st one was the 1st generation 3.1 model and i was phenomenal. I wanted a upgrade and I try sony buy it was disappointment. I ended up going back to this JBL 500 sound bar with is the same as 5.1. It uses the beam technology to bounce sound from sides. I think they could done a better job specially with dolby atmost. Music is where this bar stand out. In addition, some sound modes would make a difference. My advice for the price you pay is this JBL 500 or a sony ht-g700.
