The MA710 provides 6 HDMI ports which are plenty for my secondary home theater system in a spare guest room. The 110 watts with Dolby Atmos through an older pair of JBL speakers and center channel soundbar sounds excellent. Setting up remote use through app is a little wonky and might discourage some people, but not of extreme importance for my use.

Etc receivers in the near and distant past. This is the best I’ve ever had. The intelligibility of of speech is the best I’ve heard and everything else is right on point. And, the white look is extremely cool. What else can I say. It’s fantastic to my ears.
I would recommend this to a friend Don’t buy if you want to connect a turntable.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned a Sony receiver yesterday because it did not have a ‘phono’ connection but I could play Dad’s records NO problem on his NEW BestBuy purchased Audio-Technica AT-LP120XBT-USB through RCA connections. I returned the Sony because it lacked all the connections we needed for five input devices. The Sony was $399 this JBL is $799 and the records sound like GARBAGE through it. Complete Disapointment!

I am using the MA710 in a 5.1 config, and even the Geek Squad had quite a difficult time to set it up, but this is working. Since I have tried to use zone 2 to power my patio speakers, but zero luck getting this to work even after a call with a very nice tech support guy at HC. Sound barely audible on the patio with Party Mode on and Party Mode Vol at 99. Very disappointed since this was the recommended receiver by Best Buy Pro who cam to my house! Any advice to enable Zone 2 much appreciated.
