We listened to all soundbars at the store and originally went in with the hopes of purchasing Vizio 7.1 Surround with seperate Subwoofer. The sound wasnt great and we wanted good quality for our price point. This was by far the best base and sounds amazing in our smaller living room. We can use it regularly and it goes low enough to not disturb the kids and still sound epic! The subwoofer has Power! There is popping if the treble or bar as a whole is to low, then the base pops on and off trying to balance the sound. Adjusting the volume higher will eliminate this problem.

Easy set up. Great speaker and even better sub. No fussing with adjustments for sound, it sounds great on its own. I would highly recommend

The best thing to do in selecting a sound bar is to go to the Best Buy store and compare sound quality. The sales associate was very helpful and spent the time demonstrating the different options. Love my final selection!

Bought this JBL - after my several years of hold on buying a Sound system. Excellent sound clarity and Woofer is outstanding....Theatre effect on watching movies...the detailed level of sound i observed on this was extraordinary. People might think that the Woofer is producing the BASS effect with a vibration, please try to tune Auto Volume levels on your TV...which would give the required output effect from this SoundBAR....

I got the soundbar open box for 200! Over 50% off retail, all because it was returned, wasn't missing anything. Installation was simple, no lag between the wireless sub. Synced with my universal remote and works great on my Xbox one. JBL did a great job at the price point. If you're looking to spend 200-400 this is the way to go.

The connector cable from sound bar to tv is way too short. There is no place to put it but in front of the tv! There were not enough clear directions on using the remote and the bars buttons. You have to play around with it to even get it to come on. It has different sound features which you have to try to figure out on your own . Overall the sound is good, it beats the tvs own speakers!

One of the main features I was looking for in a sound bar was the ability to learn the existing TV remote. The JBL modes claim to have this feature, however it doesn't function that well with my particular (RCA) TV remote. It was difficult to get the unit to learn the signal, and it doesn't appear to respond to the controls. I would probably give it 5 stars if I were connecting this to a TV via ARC. It looks like I will be purchasing a universal remote to control this and the TV. As for the sound performance, it has the typical rich Harman sound.

I have never had any sound system hooked up to a TV but was looking to upgrade the sound of my TV. Bought this and have been pleased. I have an open floor plan in the living room to kitchen and the sound is great throughout the whole space. The bass is great and makes watching movies awesome. It also hooks up to Bluetooth so you can play music off your smart phone.
