They still come off my ears occasionally. It says on container that you should “use the right size. There is only one size and it doesn’t quite match the position of my ears. So okay if you are not a runner or do not plan on being very physically active. I think it suits some. Looks like great quality. The sound is good. I just want to be sure they will stay on my ears!

The are a like expensive, i got them on sale with makes it a lot better. They stay charged for hours and the case hold power for days. Comfortable on ear, sometime i forget they are even on my ear if i turn off sound while at work.

Jlab is a staple among brands I normally buy. They're easy to use and interact with, comfortable, and the sound quality is good for the price. This set is no different.
I had no problems connecting the headphones to Bluetooth on my phone. The headphones are comfortable. I would entirely recommend them to anyone

The product itself is good but it didn't fit my son's ears. Ill give it a 3 star only because it's supposed to be one size fits all. Also, the reurn policy I feel is bogus. I went to return it and they told me i couldn't because I was too late. Typically, you get a 30 day and i was only given around 3 weeks due to their holiday policy. Not happy because I'm out the $100+

I appreciate the style and look of the earbuds themselves. The touch is too sensitive. The buds hurt the top of my ear. I have really wanted to get Open Air earbuds. Unfortunately, these are not the ones.

Verdict: the JLAB Epic Open Sport are great earphones that deliver the benefits of open-ear listening – hear your surroundings while still getting good sound (and probably limiting damage to your hearing). However, they are not ideal for really loud places.
Initial impressions. They are lightweight. They rest nicely and comfortable behind the ear. The quick start guide is simple and useful to get going. Setup was straightforward, without any issues. The package includes a USB-C charging cable.
Sound. It takes a few minutes to adjust the placement of the earphones for optimal sound, but once you figure it out, it’s easy the next time. Sound is better than I expected, but of course not as good as active and passive noise cancellation earbuds. The lows are better than I expected, not bad! Due to the open-ear design, these don’t do well in areas with a lot of ambient noise. On the other hand, they are great for hearing your surroundings, for example, when working out (interact with other people), running (hearing traffic), or mountain biking (hearing other riders communicate their intentions).
App. The app is always important to me because, for example, I want the ability to reassign controls so that I don’t have to relearn all controls from one brand to another. With the JLAB app, I can customize controls, adjust the equalizer, boost the bass, listen to white noise, and more.
Running. These earbuds are working well for my running, particularly in avoiding earbuds slipping out from sweat. I can also hear my surroundings, including nature, other runners, cyclists, and vehicles. Best of all, my ears don’t hurt after a long run (1.5 hours) with earbuds pushed in as much as possible). However, running on treadmill with these is not ideal because of the treadmill noise.
Things I like:
- Best open-ear earphones that I have tried in terms of comfort and sound quality
- Super comfortable! You forget they are there
- Decent battery life, with ~30 hours total (7 hours for the earbuds and an additional 23 from the case)
- The app adds a lot of functionality and value to the earbuds. Well done!
- Two-year warranty
- The touch controls work fine
- Great for really sweaty days when my normal earbuds keep sliding out!
- Connection to two devices (I wish it was more… I have other earbuds that do three, it’s amazing!)
Things I don’t like:
- Not great to use in loud environments or noisy activities (for example, running on a treadmill, sitting on a plane, or walking through an airport)
- Sound quality is not great **if compared** to other sealed earbuds with passive and active noise cancellation, but it’s a worthwhile tradeoff depending on the activity. Are you looking for a fully immersive experience during which the world falls away? If so, these are not the earbuds for you. Do you want situational awareness of your surroundings while listening to music, audio, instructions, podcasts, etc.? Then these are for you
- IP55 sweat and dust resistance; I hope that will be enough to use through all the elements when I run… If these are meant to be used outdoor as safer listening devices from increased situational awareness and as sports earphones (Epic Open “Sport”), they should be IP65 so that they survive outdoor conditions. Maybe a dozen of my runs per year are in the rain. I hope these will last
Overall, I think that the JLAB Epic Open Sport are great open-ear earphones, but they are not for everyone. In terms of the open-ear category, it’s the best one I have tried. However, when compare to my high-end earbuds, the Epic Open Sport can’t compete on sound quality – but then again, they are not meant to. The Epic Open Sport provides quality audio in an open-air format to allow for situational awareness and avoid earbuds slipping out of your ears. I like them, and I am using them on my runs now because it’s soooo hot that I can’t keep my earbuds in due to excess sweating. As a general pair of everyday earphones, I would rate these at 3.5 Star. For a pair of open-ear earphones, I would rate these at 4.5 Star (rounded up to 5 stars). I hope this review helps a few people.
