This is my 3rd Bluetooth wireless earbud headphones I've owned and this is my favorite so far! It fulfills all the basic requirements of a good BT wireless earbud headphones plus some more.
It is well-designed, pleasing to the eye, and pretty light. You never want anything heavy sitting over the ears and this set of earphones won't tire you out.
Slipping on the earphones is a simple affair but took me a few practices to get it right. After you grab hold of one earpiece, you rotate it forward a bit, place the eartip inside your ear, then rotate the earpiece backwards while making sure the frame goes over your ear. Once you've done that, the fit is very secure and snug. Even with vigorous running, the earphones won't fall off. To take it off easily, you rotate the earpiece forward as you pull out the earpiece.
I really appreciate the numerous extras inside the package - the six pairs of eartips, 2 cable management clips, and a pretty solid and well-textured carrying case.
The audio experience of these wireless earbud headphones are great! From YouTube videos, to voice phone calls, and music, the sound is very crisp, well-detailed, and loud. Usually, cheaper BT wireless headphones have poor to so-so bass. These JLab Epic2 headphones offer more than decent bass that should make most people happy. The highs and mids are well-represented as well.
As for making voice calls, however, I wouldn't use these as the other person on the line reported some muffling. A traditional dedicated Bluetooth earpiece for phone calls is better as those types usually come with more sophisticated wind- and noise-cancelling technologies.
Other aspects I liked are its long battery life, the standard microUSB port for charging, and its sweat and water resistance.
Overall, I'm very happy and content with these JLab Epic2 headphones and I highly recommend it.

Old age is catching up to me and I am no longer able to eat whatever I want and keep my 32 inch waist. Now I need to actually move. That being said, if I'm going to torture myself running or biking I'm going to at least do it with some music to motivate me (Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart was always a favorite when I was a cadet).
I have another pair of bluetooth earbuds but they don't have any hook or wing to keep them in my ears when running so I went looking for something that had some way to stay in my ears, could tolerate sweat, and had a decent enough battery life that it would last for a couple of sessions. The JLabs Epic 2 seemed to fit the bill and I'm here to tell you that they actually exceeded all my expectations for them.
First things first, I have what are known at 'tortuous ear canals' meaning that they are smaller than they should be and twist a bit wrong. I used to give the life support guys fits when they were trying to find ear plugs for me for when I was out on the flight line. I need earphones that have a lot of different choices in ear tips and I will probably use one size in one ear and a completely different type in the other (hey, at least it makes it easy to know which side is which!). The great thing is that the JLabs team includes EIGHT different types of ear tips with the Epic2s! I found a combo that works and aren't painful which is a serious plus for any earbud in my opinion.
As for how they sound, that is where I was really surprised. I had not expected the sound to be as powerful and as clear as it is. Now we're not talking high end Sennheisers or Grados but you shouldn't be expecting that anyway and if you are picking out little details in your music while you are running you probably aren't paying attention to where you are running and are probably going to be hit by a car! The Epic2s have a nice deep bass to them that doesn't get 'flabby' and the highs are sharp without being piercing. Now it may just be me but the mids did seem to be a bit withdrawn which has caused the vocals on some tracks to be a bit more muted than I would like. This wasn't as noticeable on every track but that is probably dependent on the type of music I am listening to (I have everything short of bluegrass on my phone).
If I had one real complaint about the Epic2s it would be the length of the cord. I don't have a very fat noggin, but the cable does not have a lot of extra play and rides kind of high. Also, it shows the cable running along the back of the neck but that puts the remote and mic along the back side of my neck and it doesn't make it very conducive for use while running (that being said, I have not taken a phone call while wearing them so I can't speak to whether or not the mic would pick up my voice well enough from back there). I find it funny that JLabs actually puts in cable shorteners in the box while I would like a little bit more cable. Maybe I'm weird and just not used to headphones like this.
All-in-all these are a nice set of headphones for workout/sport use. They won't fall out of your ears, sound great, and don't care if you sweat on them. I don't know what more you can ask for. If you are looking for all of those things, you owe it to yourself to check out the JLab Epic2s.

Good Bang For The Buck

Everyone ear is different but with the changeability of the included ear tips these should be comfortable in nearly everyone's ear. I find the fit to be very secure and comfortable with a good ear seal.
Good deep bass sounds, but a little lacking on the treble end.
I played with the equalizer on my iPhone and found a setting that balanced things out and improved the lacking treble without killing the bass.
The over the ear loop does a good job of keeping things comfortably in place.
Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone was easy and the sound is constant and steady with no breakup.
I prefer to control my music functions from my phone so I never use the skip/volume controls that are built into these and similar earbuds, but tried them for functionality and there were no issues with them performing as they should.
I listened to them for around 5 hours last evening and should get another 5 hours or so from them before I need to recharge, but actual battery life is dependent on the volume level while listening.
Louder uses more battery.
I like the fact that they are extremely resistant to sweat, rain etc and can be rinsed off as needed, just make sure you have the charging port watertight door snapped shut whenever your not charging them.
These come with a nice little carrying case and should be a good set to use while working out however I will continue to use a more high end over the ear set of headphones for general listening at home and work when I dont have a need for the water resistant feature of these earbuds.

Over the ear headphones are great for active people if you can accept the weaknesses that come with the design. The JLabs Epic 2 headphones claim to have solved some of the largest weaknesses. For such compact headphones, the battery life is claimed to be 12 hours and a special antennae design is used to create skip-free sound.
In testing, the battery life is likely very close to the 12 hours. In fact, they lasted several days through several workouts where tracking the overall battery life seemed pointless. It is doubtful anyone could tolerate in ear headphones for 12 hours and charging is reasonably quick. Even if the claimed life of 12 hours isn’t true, it is unlikely anyone will run out of battery. Part of the reason is when the headphones are turned on, after announcing they are connected to your phone, the next thing they do is state the battery life. The battery life is announced as full or medium so you don’t get a percentage but it gives you a good idea if they will last through the task.
The claim of radical skip-free sound is where at least in part the promise fails. The wire that goings between the headphones and serves as the antenna can be tied up to keep it off your neck. In the instructions, it warns that signal quality will degrade and they mean it. If you want to maintain skip free audio, use an armband holder for your phone. If you keep the antenna wire hanging down you will usually have skip free sound. Where the promise starts to fail even the antenna fully extended is if you keep the phone in your left pocket and bend over or kneel. Each time you kneel and your body starts to create more signal resistance, the sound will drop in and out. Moving the phone to the right pocket improves the quality but there are still some skips. This leaves you with a choice of either wear the phone in an armband holder or deal with the antenna on your neck. If you do a lot of side to side movements with your head and work up a sweat you will likely want to use the armband as the antenna wire on the headphones sticks to sweating skin unusually well. Although this issue is not unique to over the ear headphones it is far more challenging to solve. With some adjustments, you can achieve that skip free sound everyone wants but few products seem to provide.
Over the ear headphones usually do a great job of staying out of the way but can also be much less comfortable. With some work, the Epic 2 earbuds can be very comfortable. Many tips are included from large to small. A gray set is included for people with shorter ear canals. Some tips unique to JLabs are a 3-rib design. They provide the similar benefits to the traditional design but seemed to have a little more holding power and blocked more external sound while not affecting comfort. Getting the headphones to be comfortable requires some work but is achievable. A feature that might be easily overlooked is the over the ear portion. It uses memory wire to allow it to bend and conform it to your ear. This greatly helps improve comfort and stability. To get the wire to conform requires a fair bit more of an effort and can lead one to think it isn’t working at first. The wire must be bend slightly beyond the desired position to get it to stay where intended. After becoming accustomed to this method, getting a custom fit is easy and the earbuds will stay put.
Tip: Insert the earbuds in with the memory wire on top and rotate them around your ear and into the ear canal. This provides a better fit without the need to press them too far in.
The Epic 2 earbuds claim superior sound quality due to an oversized driver for the class of headphones. For most people, this claim holds true. If you have them fitted correctly, the sound is balanced with a good range from the lows through to the highs. The bass is good without overpowering as it does on some brands. A nice sound is when you change tracks the sound fades and the next one fades in. The clarity might not be as great as audiophile headphones but considering sound is streamed over Bluetooth 4.0, it is unlikely you will hear better particularly in this price point. It will be interesting to see if the next generation includes Bluetooth 5.0 for improved sound. This sound quality doesn’t translate to great call quality. With the microphone behind the ear, expect callers to comment that it sounds like you are on speakerphone and can hear background noise. Most people looking for over the ear headphones are wanting them for active use so extended phone calls during a workout seem highly unlikely. For other times, the microphone does a passible job.
The design for active people includes one last feature in a sweatproof and splashproof design. Considering where they will be worn, the sweatproof design is a plus as some other brands start to distort at the worst possible time at the peak of a workout. Although the design doesn’t allow sweat in much to be begin with, the sweat had no effect on sound quality. Sweat also had minimal effect on the security of the earbuds during movement. A much-appreciated feature is the splashproof design. It isn’t splashproof to allow swimming. The splashproof means after a sweaty workout, you can quickly run them under the faucet to clean them so they are clean and sweat free for the next workout.
Overall, particularly considering the price point, the JLab Epic 2 headphones are a solid offering for an active lifestyle with mainly minor improvements needed for the next generation.

At first I was a bit skeptical to get these headphones. These headphone comes with multiple different rubber ends to fit just about every imaginable sized ear, and I quickly found ones that were compatible with mine.
After few hours of usage, I'm happy to report that these headphones exceeded my expectations. The quality of sound to surprise every time I wear them. They are light and comfortable. Setup with phone using bluetooth pairing is seamless.
I have used to attend phone calls and sound quality for calling as well. The battery says it gets 12 hours and easily getting 16. The noise canceling is working extremely well. They are comfortable to use for a long period. The range is really good (around 40 feet) between my phone and the headphones. The buttons are simple to use.
I am glad that I saved $50 to 100$ and went with these over other workout headphones. This headphone is good for workout, biking, construction, hands free, headphones. I will definitely recommend these to anyone in the market for this type of headphones.

Crystal-Clear Audio, but Annoying Cord & Controls
|

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Design/Comfort:
The JLab Epic2s are lightweight, compact, and secure. These are great qualities to have for sport earbuds but, unfortunately, there are some negative aspects of the design that disappoint and annoy me. The cord is very thin and long. While the thinness helps make the headphones lightweight and clips are included to shorten the length, it easily tangles and bends in a variety of ways over the course of my workouts, especially because the inline controller is rather large. No matter how I configure the included cord clips, the cord gravitates towards the right side where the controller is, which causes the cord to tighten and tug on my left ear. This is annoying enough to distract me during my workouts, so I occasionally lose focus. In addition, the controls are not very intuitive and the ear clips hurt my ears after 20-30 minutes. I really wish I liked the design/comfort more because everything else is great.
Audio Quality:
The crystal-clear audio that the Epic2 headphones provide has been very impressive to me. I have noticed new details in songs that I had not before, such as background vocals or instruments. They also offer surprisingly good bass for their small size. I have heard better bass in other Bluetooth earbuds but, in my opinion, the clarity makes up for that. If you prefer heavier bass though, these may not be for you.
Battery Life:
With an average of one hour of use per day, a full charge lasts me almost two weeks. I am surprised that these small earbuds are capable of lasting that long. 12 hours is the advertised battery life, and that seems to be accurate. I am very happy with the battery life, and the automated voice that lets you know how much battery remains is helpful. Dead headphones can ruin a great workout for me, but I no longer have to worry about that with the JLab Epic2s.
Verdict:
With impressive audio quality and battery life, as well as an appealing, compact, and secure design, these headphones seemed ideal for workouts. Initially judging by the small size of the Epic2s, I was skeptical about how good the audio would be, but they are crystal-clear and capable of getting loud, but there is not much bass. It is unfortunate that the cord and inline controller annoy me to the point where it distracts me from the great audio. I had high hopes for these headphones and tried to like them, but they fall short.

These are a nice set of headphones. Easy to set up. Good battery life. Seven different ear attachments make it easy to find a comfortable fit. They sound great, once seated properly in your ears. I couldn't get them to fall off either. Would be great for physical activities. Also water resistant, so cleaning is easy. If you're looking for a set of wireless headphones, these are easy to recommend. They also include a nice case.
Pros: Well built, easy to setup and use, water resistant, many pad options
Cons: Not really much wrong here. If I had to nitpick, the charge cable is really short. Doesn't really cause any problems though.

These are very comfortable to wear. Easy to set up as well. I did have some connection issues, cutting in and out at one point when I placed my Note 4 in my back pocket. I moved it to the other pocket and it was better (Maybe your phone will connect better). Bluetooth connection range is pretty short, maybe 20 feet.
Sound is OK, but I would like more bass. I wont remove a star for this as I have yet to find a pair of Bluetooth Earbuds that have provided me the bass I would like to hear. One star lose it for connection stability.
Battery life is great and you get a very nice assortment of tips to fit any ear. I think if you are not an audiophile like me and you want nice sounding and comfortable headset, these could work nice for you.

Incredible fit and noise isolation

I have several older sets of Bluetooth earbuds from other manufacturers, but the JLAB Epic2 are by far the most secure fitting. In all my use so far, they have never even hinted at coming out of either ear, and the noise isolation is incredible. I've been using them for both yardwork and at the gym for a week or so, and I REALLY like them.
These earbuds come with several different sets of tips, so that you can find the right fit for your ears, but the set that came on the earbuds were an absolutely perfect fit for me. There are also several clips you can use to shorten the cable so it doesn't dangle, but I really saw no need to use them. I basically took these out of the box, saw that they fit snugly, adjusted the memory wire around the back of my ears, turned them on and paired them with my phone, heard the voice say they were at full charge, and decided to hop on my mower and try them out. Again, the fit of these earbuds is quite amazing and the noise isolation is very good (probably the best I've seen any of the corded or cordless earbuds I've bought over the years). Of course for mowing, I also wore a pair of over-the-ear muffs, but even with these, the JLAB earbuds were so comfortable that after 3 hours of mowing, I could've kept going. Similarly, at the gym, these earbuds have stayed in my ears through an entire workout without any need to majorly readjust them, even with all the sweat and motion you'd expect at a gym. The 'out-of-the-box' charge lasted for about 11 hours. I might've been able to stretch that a little, but I decided to fully recharge them since I was about to mow again.
To me, the sound from these earbuds seems a tad 'bass heavy', but it's definitely not something that I would even begin to consider annoying. The only other thing that I would even offer up as a 'problem' is that occasionally when trying to adjust the volume up or down, I accidentally activated the track functionality. If you're careful, you can avoid this, but when I was bouncing around on my mower, I skipped ahead a few times when I was trying to turn up the volume. Again, not a big deal for me, but it's something that might bug some people.
Overall, these earbuds are very nice; the fit and noise isolation are superb. If you're looking for a nice set of Bluetooth earbuds that you can put on and basically forget, try a pair, I think you'll be very happy with them.

The compact Bluetooth earbuds come with 8 different sets of earbuds to fit very small ears to large. They also include cable management clips to help from tangles or excess cord when jogging.
Right out of the box the unit had a full charge so I was able to play it immediately. I found the fit of the earbud awesome from the start. It fit me like a glove. Even after extended use I had no ear fatigue that some have.
The buds stay put when working out or jogging. You do not have to keep readjusting them.
The high tones are spot on, the mid tones are OK but the bass is lacking a little unless you have the Buds turned all the way up and use your phone to change the level. Not a game changer though. I was able to pair my buds with my phone very easily. Hold the main button down for 10 seconds. The female voice notification is a nice touch. It told me I was ready to pair. It also lets you know when you power on and off and let you know when you are out of range from your streaming device. Don't fear the Buds auto connect when you get back in range.
I found that a line of sight range for the head phone was approximately 70 Feet. This will differ if you have walls separating you from your device.
You can skip forward by holding the volume up for 2 seconds and vice versa with volume down. Power on is the middle button for 2 seconds and off is for 3 seconds.
An added feature is the ability to answer/hang up phone calls by hitting the down button. If you have Siri or Google assistant you can access this by clicking the down button for 2 seconds and invoking their name. (Siri or OK Google)
The buds come with a handy carrying case that's about the size of a pack of cigarettes. Everything fits in the case nicely.
You can charge the unit via an included USB cord that plugs into the control. Average life of the unit is about 4 hours or so.
The unit is also water resistant (not water proof). You just have to make sure that the USB charge area opening is closed tight.
I really like the buds and would recommend them to friends and family without a doubt.

I bought 2 other pairs of wireless headphones (and returned them) before trying Epic 2. I am very happy with them! Sounds is great! They fit comfortably in my ear (I have smaller ear canals - so wired Apple earbuds don’t fit comfortably after an hour of wearing). I have had no problems with the range when walking around my house or at the gym. I don’t think it’s recommended-but I was able to pair my iPad and iPhone to the earbuds at the same time. I deducted on star only because on a couple of workouts where I have been drenched, I noticed my sweat ran down the earbud piece and into my ear. I’m sure this would happen with other over the ear buds though. I have owned them for about 2 months now and no issues. I purchased them based on an article rating over 130 wireless earbuds and these came in number 1 overall. I also like how long they stay charged!! So nice not having to constantly charge them!!

I came into this product test with high hopes but I just wasn't wowed or disappointed when finished. I am just kind of stuck with a shrug and an ok product that I don't hate or love.
First off, the product doesn’t look too inspired when you first see it but it isn’t poor quality either. It just feels… average. The contents are straightforward with the headphones, documentation, mini cable clips, a blue USB cable, LOTS of earbuds for a perfect fit and a case. Kudos on the case since most manufacturers don’t bother these days.
Pairing is your routine Bluetooth experience. It is advertised to get about 12 hours of battery life charged via micro USB 2.0. It is hidden under a rubber flap on the control part of the cable. Love rubber flaps or hate em but it keeps the device water resistant.
My first problem was the fit. It was hard to get a comfortable fit. Of course, everyone’s ears are going to be different but I rarely have any issues when trying out headphones, most seem to fit pretty well (with the exception of Powerbeats). Even with all the ear bud fittings, I couldn’t get a good seal, I found one that was satisfactory but I could tell when I held the earbuds in place with a perfect fit that I was probably going to miss out on some of the sound quality. The loop that goes around the ear feels kind of cheap and adjusts a little bit but not enough to hold it in my ear’s sweet spot. The cable connecting the two earbuds felt basic and I couldn’t help but wonder how it would hold up to wear and tear over time. The control pad has basic controls like volume and pause, it feels like cheap plastic. The earbuds themselves don’t look bad and feel of higher quality.
The sound quality is actually pretty good. I listen to a lot of electronic when working out and the bass is heavy but not overpowering, most of the details are there but mids seems a little plain. I was using my device with a phone which supports APT-X, also supported by the headphones. A good amount of the detail was present and the headphones were comfortable for wear for extended periods of time. It was nice not having to worry about the battery dying mid workout since it advertises about 12 hours of batter life.
Overall, if you can find a good fit and do not mind some of the cheaper materials, I think you might really like these headphones. Those are my only gripes and it might be user specific since I could never get a perfect fit. The sound quality was above average, it was easy to use and had great battery life and splash resistance. It seems like it had equal number of pros and cons so it is really up to the reader. Hope this helps!

Just got these bad boys and immediately took them for a ride at the gym. First test is always: can they withstand this humid weather and sweat from gym trips. They did well.
Pairing them was a cinch, and it's cool that you can pair a few devices to the headphones so I can use them with my phone and my fitness watch.
They come with different ear tips which is cool and the wire that is malleable so you can form the ear piece to fit your ears which is super personalized.
The sound is good but I did find that when I was moving around the ear tips would move from their place and i'd have to press them right back in.
Overall, a good set of earbuds and not difficult to handle. Best part is that I can use them in the sauna and steam room after a sweat session at the gym.

I have several different pairs of headphones and these fall in the middle of the pack. At this price point, they are a decent deal based on my experience with them.
Audio quality was good, but not great. The earbuds felt secure in my ear and many alternate sizes are included. Battery life was also excellent as advertised (up to 12 hours). The travel case is nice and will come in handy when I use these away from home.
I am not a fan of the placement for the volume buttons. It hangs behind your ear in an awkward spot that feels weird when reaching for it.
These are good earbuds, but will not be for everyone (especially if you wear glasses). At this price point they are worth a shot though.

J-Lab completely missed the mark on this set of earbuds. I know they have sold some excellent wired earphones in the past, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. There is a complete lack of quality in these headphones. I almost never give products such low reviews and the rating is more like 2.5 stars but I cannot give this set a full 3 stars. The quality is minimal, sound quality poor, and feels cheap.
Design and Comfort: This set is cheaply designed. The part that goes into your ear is the only solid part of this set. If you look at the images I posted, the wire is barely the thickness of the wire tie around them. The multifunction button with Mic also has a very cheap plastic feel to them. At a distance, they may look like a nice set but once you hold them it is clear to see they are not. Putting them on was not as simple and comfortable as I'd hoped. I have owned many earphones of different styles, including around the ear types. This set did not match up to the comfort to any other set I've owned (even the cheap ones). They also include many different ear tips. You would think that would be great, but it's not. I tried multiple different sizes for extended periods and could not find a truly comfortable fit. I've had this trouble in the past with J-Lab ear tips. Generally, I find great comfortable in the medium size of other products with 3 size tips. I'm very surprised to see this was not possible with this set.
Function: This was the highlight of these headphones. A true 5/5 here. The buttons work flawlessly. The mic is good. I was able to control music, phone, and Siri without any issues. The range was excellent and did not interrupt during movements when working out. Setting up the bluetooth was quick a simple. Battery life was excellent and charging time was not bad. I did not have any function issues and they seem to have done a great job here. They were fine after getting wet and did not seem to see any issues after a light rinse.
Sound: The sound is not good. It lacks depth a clarity. I tested different quality sound tracks and the performance never really improved greatly. The sound is not awful, but it could be much better. There is minimal bass response. The highs are not clear and do not have the quality expected. J-Lab really missed the mark here too. Even for workout hJ-Lab completely missed the mark on this set of earbuds.
Even for workout earphones I expect better.
Other: The manual states these earbuds should have a 40 hour break-in. These days, quality products don't necessarily have long break in periods. J-Lab even has an app you can download to perform the break. Do not waste your time. They recommend that you play the sound on this app for 10 hours a day for a few days. I took a jab at this and gave up. The break-in sound turns off every time you leave the app or if your phone goes to sleep. So I guess they want you to stand by and keep your phone awake for ten hours a day or 40hours of break-in.
Overall, I cannot recommend these headphones.eaphones I expect better.

When cord is in back of neck so hard for people to hear you talk!
When court is in front of Nick you have to hold it by mouth for people to hear but then will fall off!

I own multiple pairs of Bluetooth and corded headphones; each serves a different and specific function. Throughout my search for the best headphones, I’ve found that there is not one set of headphones that will suit everyone’s needs.
JLab has done a nice job at designing these headphones to fit the space of the ear without sticking out, and the cord neatly wraps around the ears to create a secure and comfortable fit. I was able to wear sunglasses without the cord interfering with the sunglass stems. The drivers deliver a full and clean sound, but lack hard hitting bass. I believe if JLab used silicone ear pieces with wings like Bose and Sony have, it would greatly improve the bass.
The first set of headphones I received was not balanced, with over 10dB difference between them. The tech support was very helpful and sent a replacement pair quickly, with a hand written apology note. It is nice to have a company really stand behind its product.
The headphones connected quickly and easily. I read that these use a skip-proof technology, but I still had a few issues with my music skipping. They did a better-than-average job at not skipping though.
The headphones are supposed to last over 12 hours, and I would believe it. I listened to music for a couple days and never received a low battery warning. I would rather hear a percentage of battery life or an indicator on my phone, but it was a not big deal since the battery life is great anyway. I made a few phone calls using the headphones, but would prefer a Bluetooth headset instead of headphones for this use. The caller told me I sounded far away, and I thought the same of the caller.
The most disappointing thing about these headphones was the app. I used the burn-in program to break in my headphones, but after a couple days the app stopped working, with the alert, “JLab Audio Burn-in App keeps stopping.” I tried un- and reinstalling the program, but nothing has worked. I would have liked to see what other things the app could offer, but I never had the chance to explore.
Pros
The ear piece tucks nicely into the ear without sticking out awkwardly
Long battery life
Bluetooth signal strong even after 30 feet (with no obstructions)
Cons
Battery level is not given as a percentage
Lacks deep bass sound
Defunct App
I like these headphones and will continue to use them while running, but I worry about the long-term quality of these since my first headphones were defective, and now the app no longer works. Since these are reasonably priced and the company seems to stand behind their product, I would still recommend giving these a try.

Fulfill Their Purpose

The setup for the JLab Audio Epic 2 Sport Wireless Earbud headphones was simple enough. Upon turning on the headset you must hold the pair button, which is a square shaped button, and your phone or electronic device will recognize it as Epic 2 BT.
A unique feature of this wireless pair of headphones is that it is meant to be sweat proof. Previous headphones that I had, the kind that hang around the neck, lost functionality because of sweat. These headphones don’t rest on your neck. Instead, a cord will dangle from one ear to the other behind your neck making it less likely to have excessive sweat enter the product and as a result, I didn’t see any damage on it while working out. The battery lasts for 12 hours and comes fully charged out of the package so you can start enjoying them right away.
The headphones’ performance, to my liking, were ok. They didn’t blow me away compared to other bluetooth headphones that I have. The earpiece tip that comes preinstalled was too big and uncomfortable but 7 other sizes were provided.
These wireless headphones meet my expectations but do not exceed them. Since they are meant for working out, I can see these being left in my car for when I go to the gym but they won’t be replacing my day to day headphones. They come in a carrying case which makes it easy to store. In that carry case, you can fit the small rechargeable cable, the headphones, and maybe an extra pair of eartips. The bulkiness of the earpiece, though, means that you have to arrange the headphones in a certain manner for them to fit in the small case.
The price for the wireless headsets in terms of value is acceptable if you want something that will resist sweat. The box claims that they are washable with an IPX5 rating, which means, according to Wikipedia, that it will resist “water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction [and] shall have no harmful effects”.
I highly recommend this product for people who work out and sweat excessively to the point where the sweat will drip down your earlobes and behind on your neck. These headphones do a good job of blocking out sound for you to hear you music or TV show while working out. It does have a microphone and works with Siri on Apple Products. The microphone sounds good when using it in conversation with others. Overall, good for its intended purpose, but not to replace other headphones with deeper bass sounds.

I am really impressed with the quality of these jlab wireless earbuds.
Firstly the packaging is very neat and crisp. A magnetic flap allows you to have a look at everything you are getting.
The earbuds have an adjustable memory wire that are bendy and sturdy enough to hold. There are enough gel cushion tips included to fit every ear type and I found these to be super comfortable while at the desk or talking calls on the move.
Pairing to both an iphone and a samsung device was easy without any issues. The mic is very sensitive and picks up voice even in busy places. The called party never complained of any voice issues.
Sound quality of these earbuds is amazing to say the least and I am a bose user. The track and volume control is neatly placed and is very easy to use.
Also included is a perfectly sized carrying case which works well.
Very happy and impressed with these earbuds.

I wanted to like these, but JLab really dropped the ball with my set of Epic2 headphones. I'd normally list the pros first, but I'm so disappointed that I'm starting with the cons.
CONS:
- The Epic2s are supposed to come with 6 pairs of silicone ear tips. Well, I got 6 ear tips, but not 6 PAIRS of ear tips. My box only had 1 of each type of ear tip. Yes, I looked everywhere - inside the carrying case, in every plastic bag -- they're not there.
- After I removed the headphones from the box, I noticed that the black coating on the cord was starting to peel. This is probably because JLab forcefully bends the cord to fit it into the awkward box. Not a good first impression, and I'm sure it's only going to get worse.
- It's too bad that JLab didn't provide all of the ear tips, because the ones that come installed by default do not fit me well at all. They are way too small for my ears and slide out while I'm running. It would have been nice to try another set of ear tips, but I obviously can't do that.
- These things just aren't comfortable on my ears. The over-ear loops just feel awkward and don't allow much room for adjustment.
- The cord is just ridiculously long. The headphones come with 2 cable clips (which I actually got - yay!), but they are awkward to use and you're warned that using them might kill your Bluetooth connection. No thanks.
- The volume and track control buttons are horribly placed. I feel like I have to reach around and grab the back of my neck if I want to adjust the volume.
- Speaking of sound and volume, these headphones just don't sound good. They are way too bass-heavy and voices/dialogue sound extremely muted.
PROS:
- They turn on and connect to Bluetooth as expected.
- Comes with a nice carrying case.
- Battery life estimate of 12 hours seems to be accurate.
OVERALL:
I've emailed JLab to see about getting replacement ear tips, but even with those, I think I'll still avoid these headphones. I wouldn't want the cord to start peeling apart mid-workout. The title of this review says it all: these headphones are made from cheap materials, have bad sound quality, and apparently go through minimal quality control processes. Avoid at all costs.
