John wick is a classic. I love Keanu reeves. I remember watching this in the theater and I loved the movie. It is a great film well directed.

If you are looking for an action filled movie that is light on extra plot, this movie is the one. It only takes the first 5 to 10 minutes to drop a very thin plot. But don't let that dissuade you. This is a good thing because the movie immediately kicks into high action and pretty much keeps that momentum for the rest of the film. Good action, decent acting, and lots of kills.

This movie has non-stop action from the minute you turn it on! Keanu doesn't disappoint. Simple plot but keeps you glued to the screen. Excellent cast of characters that work tremendously together. You will not be disappointed!

This is a good movie to have in the ever growing movie collection ... An enjoyable movie to own to see when you need a good movie fix!! Here's to continuing growing movie collections and finding larger movie shelves! Keep on watching!

This movie runs up there with Speed, Chain Reaction, The Matrix, Point Break and Constantine. It is action filled, full of suspense, and some people just need to learn NOT to mess with another man's dog !! You got to watch it to find out why !!!

I was kind of expecting a pretty boring action movie, but this was just the opposite! Fast Paced, Energetic, and Non-Stop Action! Keanu Reeves plays a very different roll than you would think in this movie > a Must See for any Action Junkie

I almost thought Wick was Steven Seagals brother. Everyone and their brother was trying to kill him and he ended up killing everyone and their brother. I you like action and over coming impossible odds this movie is for you.

My dad & I saw this one in the theater & thought nothing much about it. When I purchased the sequel to add to my collection, Dad suggested that we get the original ! Good call on his part. There is some semblance of a story, but from the 15-minute mark on it's non-stop action & gore galore! It's even better than the sequel!

John Wick is a great example of a action movie with fight scenes done right, had to add this flick to my personal collection! Recommend buying this DVD with digital copy so you can take the action with you anywhere very cool.

Just saw #2 and this by far the better story. More human interest, a story line you could follow and lots of action. #2 really just had a lot more action and a story line the an elementary kid could have predicted.

Given that Keanu Reeves is a fairly wooden actor, this movie appears to be written for him. The action is fun to watch, and looks very real. This movie certainly whets the appetite for part 2 when it comes out.

Almost everyone I talked to really loved this movie so I had high expectations before viewing it, That's always a bad thing since, in my view this failed to measure up. It's not bad it's just not as great as some people would have you believe. Your basic violent revenge movie with a very high body count. A somewhat original story moves it above average, but just.. Also be sure your TV is good at handling movies with dark scenes. That would be this entire movie. HD is sort of waste here (DVD will work just fine for most folks) because everything is at night, or inside unlit buildings dark and in shadows most of the time. Reeves shows his usual lack of acting ability, which works just fine here since Wick is supposed to something of a deadpan character (think Eastwood without the pancho). Surprised this rated a sequel because it really isnt that good. But there is no accounting for taste.

This is a great guys film that gives you the action you want in a movie and shows that everyone has a soft spot in their hearts, even hitmen. Reeves is perfect for the role of John Wick and the movie doesn't let you down.

My husband has talked about how awesome this movie was since it first came out. I decided to watch it with him after we purchased it and I'm so glad I did..it is definitely a movie worth buying and watching!

Keanu Reeves has always been one of my favorite actors but after seeing him as John Wick I have a whole new respect for him and his acting. I can and have watched this movie over and over. It just never gets old. LOVE IT!!!

We have watched this movie many times and it does not get old.There is tons of violence but not gore which makes it easier to watch. The first death that opens the way for the many others is the hardest to accept considering it was a tangible memory of a prior loss. However there is some degree of satisfaction at the end.

Keanu Reeves is great with his witty banter and ability of martial arts. Hes about 50 but kicks a** like hes 20. You're rooting for him the whole movie! And this has re-watch-ability!! Own it and watch it over and over

John Wick was a surprisingly good action movie. It was one of Keanu Reeves' better movies. I enjoyed it thoroughly and would definitely recommend it to a friend. Can't wait for the John Wick sequel.

I normally don't care for a lot of his stuff. 47 Ronin was a disaster. But wick is a two thumbs up "hey man you gotta check this out" kind of movie. 2 hours of action with something alot of movies don't have. Plot.

Although I wouldn't consider Keanu Reeves to an Oscar winning actor. The portrayal of John Wick does supply plenty of action to compensate for any acting inability and provide good entertainment !
