Inside look at the cold hard truth and the way people were treated, back then, and the man who fought to change a nation. Not saying there aren't biased views in every movie, but this reminds me, so much had to be fought to get for different cultures, that we truly do not have any appreciation for, that we need to.

Movie is based on a true story that takes place in Monroeville, Alabama in 1987. Jamie Foxx gave a great performance. Brie Larsen demonstrates she can do something other than being a super hero in a tight costume. Michael B. Jordan was fine in the role of Bryan Stevenson but I would have loved Denzel Washington in the role. Bottom line, it was a good movie.

If you are into justice films, this is the one for you. The acting is strong and the plot will keep you interested until the very end!
