Its pitch black at night; the only light is lens flares from the headlights of the surrounding vehicles that lance the darkness. Raylan Givens, outlaw lawman, is surrounded by armed enemies, all for the sake of rescuing a young teenage girl whose continuous rebellious nature and discordant old-soul behavior have placed her in mortal danger with those same armed enemies surrounding them. Raylan tells the armed goons the story of his childhood, tragic as it was, and how his father shaped/molded him with a firm back hand and even firmer disposition for correcting the perceived weakness in his son, making him shoot a defenseless animal; and he did, his aim even at that young age sure and true. An aim and skill that only sharpens and which he expertly masters over time, a story which he uses as a warning to the men surrounding them; to paraphrase: "I was good at shootin' before I ever went to GlenCo to train for it; that place just made me a better killer, and I'll kill 4 of ya before you draw your weapon, and i'll take my chances with the last 2..." It is this scene, and this line, from this season, that sums up Raylan Givens. I didn't quote it verbatim; you need to see it for yourself, watch Timothy Olyphant's eyes in his performance, the tone of his voice, the lilt of his stance as his hand rests on his pistol grip, to get the full effect of how effortlessly TO portrays Raylan Givens in such a way as to embody the character the way few actors can with a role. He brings such gravitas and sinistry to the character that at times, you get the feeling Raylan being surrounded by armed men ready to draw is where he is most at ease, most like himself. In watching this series, and TO's portrayal throughout it, you can easily walk away from it believeing Raylan is one incident away from crossing a line he can never walk back from legally...but that's the beauty of the character and TO's portrayal of him, because you also come away realizing being a LAWman is the thing that keeps Ralyan Givens alive. If you haven't seen any of this series, watch all 6 seasons; if you have, I urge you to buy the whole series; I just completed my purchase of all 6 seasons on blu ray, and soon I will start binge-watching them all over again; there are few episodic television shows that are iconic: Miami Vice, NYPD Blue, The Shield to name a few; Justified joins the short pantheon of seminal tv series worth investing both time/money in collecting and viewing. It's must see TV at its finest!

The fifth season is a must see series which is filled with continuation of stories and character which are match very well from the start of the series which is very entertaining. The episodes just keep getting better. Keep you in awe and satisfies you with each character that is featured in the series. It also own up to the name justified. I have purchased all the DVDs season episodes. Great series filled with drama action and comic relief at times. This series is definite worth owning and seeing. Awesome series.

Justified is one of a handful of TV shows that I never missed an episode. Great character acting that each year had a cast members nominated and win Emmy Awards. If you're a fan of Elmore Leonard's books, short stories, and work that has been made into movies (Get Shorty, etc.), then this show will give you a taste of some of his best work. The Blu-Ray has an excellent picture and sound plus bonus features. I do not buy much TV shows on DVD/Blu-Ray, but this is one that I know I will enjoy for years.

When my husband picked up the Season 1 set of Justified a while back, I had my doubts. He wanted to give it a chance because the price was great (sale), so I hesitantly watched it with him. Oh...my...gosh...I was thoroughly hooked! This is the 5th season on DVD and I'm still loving it! I'm seriously bummed though because I think next season (6) is the last one.

If your looking for a good series to get into its Justified. Of course you'll have to start from the beginning but by the time you get to this season you'll be glad you have it. Its funny sometimes how watching a show will make you think of a state you never have before. You'll be thinking of Kentucky in a whole new light. Enjoy

I watched the first season of JUSTIFIED because I loved DEADWOOD (Timothy Olyphant). I was hooked and loved the character of Boyd Crowder. I purchased every season and was bummed it only went one season more. I highly recommend this show, and wished it was on along with DEADWOOD

This is my all time favorite show. Solid DVD said, was shipped as expected within a few days of placing the order. Happy customer.

Sometimes I wish Justified would add in more NEW characters... but in Season 5 it was just the right balance between our initial immersion in this world and bringing in interesting new characters. The gangs all here still, but it was still fresh. Timothy Olyphant is so funny and intriguing.

I love the Justified series. I have bought each season's collection on DVD and enjoy watching a second or third time to catch subtle things missed on original viewing - but at the end you realize it all ties together. Fun show, but serious violence, language, situations. Not for kids.

While this season might have been a smidge less interesting than others, the quality still remains with the set. The extras are nice, and it's another notch in the holster belt of one of the greatest shows on television.

Bought this for a friend who had all the other seasons. Now she has the complete series. I heard good things about this particular season from my other friend but I have yet to watch it. Regardless, a solid show and with 6 seasons, I'm sure the 5th is required viewing.

This "Justify" TV series season purchase was easy to, well, justify. :-) The same season on other websites was priced the same or higher and then I would have had to pay shipping as well. I saved money getting this at my local Best Buy and it, being new, worked perfectly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series. it is fantastic, well acted, great villains...every seasons a little something different...this season has its fair share of surprises...said there were only be one more season to come but at least they're going to go out with a bang...

Have always loved this show. One of the best continuing series on television. In my opinion this Season 5 is the best yet. Very good character development. If you have been following this show do not miss this season. Blu-ray AV quality is excellent as usual.

Excellent series and actors. Series is intriguing and has captured my interests since first season. Full of action and some awesome twists and turns. Goggins and Olyphant are definitely a fantastic team that play off each other's opposite side of the law.

We really enjoyed this series even though there were more casualties than there were in the Sopranos. The character studies were terrific and we couldn't help but binge watch the season.

I have every season of Justified. Love the whole series. They ended at the right time as plot lines were getting weaker. My favorite season was the first one. But the last season was good in including characters from previous years (Loretta).

this Justified season is as good as all the other seasons - they have continued to build the main characters and keep the viewers interest in the main plot of Justified as well as the sub-plots that are interwoven into the season
