Nice unit at an affordable price. Installing was easy and user interface is easy to navigate. It's nice to have a capacitive screen instead of a resistive screen usually found on hed units in this price range.

I replaced my 2017 Passat factory radio with this unit and it sound absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately I had to install it myself because all the install shops including Best Buy were all due to CONVID, but with the help from YouTube and a certain web store, I was able to get what I needed for a DIY project.
Ps I was able to keep all my steering controls

For the price its an okay head unit. For a JVCKENWOOD deck it's high low tier to low mid tier at best

This does NOT easily fit into my vehicle. I got this as a gift for my girlfriend. I’ve made 2 different attempts to install this thing with different dash kits and none of them work. If you would have made a suggestion which parts sold separately were needed, this would have been a lot more of a pleasant experience. Now I’m ordering more parts online hoping they help make this fit. We’ve had this radio for almost a week and still unable to install.

Radio is trash. You pay for what you get. Radio just cuts my music off when it wants to, so it will randomly disconnect when it wants to leaving you to be distracted while driving while replugging it into your phone because theres a loud static noise. Also when you click on certain music it takes FOREVER to play. I will not have this long term. Decided to write a review because i have had enough with this radio!

I picked up this head unit for my 2003 Honda CRV on sale for $250 and installed it myself. The installation was simple, but make sure you get a vehicle-specific wiring harness to connect the radio to your car. You will have to solder or crimp the wires together using butt connectors. They are color coded, so you just match the colors together and it's pretty straightforward. The included face plate with this radio didn't fit my car, so I have to fill in the gap around the radio with something else. The unit doesn't take long to power on and works very well. Makes my factory Honda speakers sound fuller and louder as opposed to the factory radio. I was able to run the USB port behind the radio and behind my dashboard out of a hole in a fuse cover so I can connect my phone. In order to use carplay/android auto, you have to plug your phone into the USB. The external microphone also has to be mounted somewhere, I think it's best to mount it on the visor but I mounted it on an AC vent, and I was told the microphone sounds very clear. Overall, CarPlay works great and the radio controls themselves are easy to use once you know what you're doing. There is also gesture control, so you circle your finger around the screen as an alternative way to turn the volume up/down, or swipe left/right to change radio stations/songs. Fully customizable EQ settings as well. The unit is sleek and the screen is big, and the back of the radio was half the depth of the factory radio, making it lighter too. Very responsive and will make a great addition to any old car.

It’s great, linked to my phone with car play, looks expensive for it’s price. The only problem might be installment, but many people know how to, so ask around!
