After waiting almost 10 hours to have it installed it just wouldn't connect to my iPhone 7. I did a update on my phone and it finally worked but sometimes. apparently after calling jvc it's a known issue that apple is aware of.

This radio doesn't function well with my steering wheel buttons. It should have more apps with car play.

We bought this for my son's car and were told we would need to buy approximately $15 in additional cables. We found out that for his car the cables would be $135 by a company not affiliated with Best Buy. We ordered them only to find out they no longer carry them nor does anyone else. Needless to say we returned the radio.

I was so in love with it until I wasn't able to connect to Bluetooth with my iPhone 7. It worked on and off. Apparently it's a connectivity issue with the iPhone 7 that's hasn't been worked out yet.

Gotta say, first and foremost, I love Best Buy for price matching! It guarantees I get the best price all the time! I got 185 bucks off this unit! I installed this unit in an Infiniti I35 with a dash kit I got off Amazon. aesthetically It looks fantastic. There were a few software bugs at first, I found an updated firmware on the JVC site and updated the unit that took care of the minor software flaws. If you do this, remember to use a thumb drive with less than 8 gigs and formatted to FAT 32. I learned the hard way when I initially tried to use a 32 gig stick. Apple carplay is awesome. works great with an iPhone. Only quirk there is that some apps require you to unlock the phone first. Bluetooth - took be a few minutes to figure out that there is an extra step after connecting the phone to get it to work correctly (read the manual!) USB input - this is awesome. Plays MP4 movies! AM/FM tuner - I don't listen to the radio much, but I noticed that if there is a fine tuning option, I haven't found it. If the station signal is not strong enough, the seek function skips right over it. I haven't played with the tuner too much so I haven't knocked any stars off for this. BAD - Glare! it's a resistive touchscreen that has a polyester film (plastic) that reflects everything! I can see why they used this type of touchscreen; it can be used with gloves on, but it's so bad during the day it might as well be a mirror. At this price point, it should have had an anti-glare coating of some sort. I only knocked off one star because I believe I can fix this with an anti-glare screen protector film.

I installed this stereo and 2 weeks later it was shutting off and wouldnt turn on

Best Buy installed this and it works wonderfully. CarPlay works great, unit sounds and looks fantastic. Could not be more pleased...and would highly recommend this unit

Had this unit for about 6 months everything went blank had absolutely nothing sent it to jvc repair shop got it back today was excited because I did like this a lot when it worked and went to power up and blank screen. Tech support seemed to have done nothing with it at all. What a waste of money on the unit and shipping costs to not have it repaired
