I purchased this system to replace my original stereo in a 1986 Volvo. The popping and cracking and cassette tape player weren't getting it any longer. Besides this may become my son's car so I was pretty sure he would want it changed too. I have found the on/off function to be a little frustrating since it doubles as many of the controls do for other functions. Turning it off for instance and then back on shouldn't change the source but that happens sometimes. I have found you must be careful to fully depress and hold the control to avoid it advancing the source selection. A bit of a learning curve just as is understanding all of the tuning and settings available to you. Fully capable of handling all ranges of music and making it sound the best through the preset equalizer settings is a nice feature and something I was missing with my old factory radio. Also the ability to play music from my iPhone is pretty cool. Yes, I know that technology has been around for a while but remember I upgraded from 1986. How many folks reading this even have a cassette tape much less a cassette player? The Bluetooth connectivity is really nice. The volume goes down and the ring comes through and with a touch of the right control you can start your hands free conversation. Hang up and the music volume returns. I see this as much of a safety enhancement to my Volvo as an improvement of my music system. Best Buy also installed this unit for me. I was very pleased with their work and their willingness to show me how my new device worked. A special mount was needed for my car and there was a special charge because of the difficulty of the installation. Seems there was a separate amplifier that requires either removal or bypassing with the wiring since the new radio has it's own. I bought the radio on sale and during the "free" installation promotion so while I kind of felt I was being taken advantage of with the extra charge I was happy to have something more modern in my car. I did check some Internet sites and I seemed to find find enough evidence that working on my old radio and the amplifier was not an easy task so perhaps the extra charge was justified.

Great radio. Bluetooth works great and the microphone for the phone calls sounds awesome. Even in high noise. Only drawback is that it is designed for use with android phones for its mobile apps connectivity. Should have iPhone support also. Lot of great features for a cheap price. And awesome sound quality with lots of adjustability.

Stereo sounds good and my daughter loves the changing colors. I wanted to make sure she had blue tooth in her car and this stereo does. What I was a little shocked by is all the parts you have to buy to install. Stereo was $130 but the parts to install were an addiltional $120

JVC put together a really nice package in this stereo for the money. Great features including Bluetooth and remote control. User friendly system. Easy install with Best Buy help.

We had this JVC car stereo installed so that our daughter could listen to her ipod or iphone in the car. We also wanted it to have bluetooth pairing so that she could talk hands-free while driving. The system is working very well! We did have to take it back in to have the installers help us get the flashing lights stop flashing. Apparently the demo mode was turned on & drove us crazy for a few days before we took it in to get help. The manual wasn't very good for that. Other than that, the quality of sound & ease of use of the car stereo is great!

My OEM Car Radio had no Cassette or Aux Jack, so I could not play anything but radio and CD's. I was originally looking for something to play music from an external device. This does that very well, by blue tooth, Analog Aux Jack, or USB. Plus it charges my phone. It also gives me hands free phone with the sound playing over the radio and an included micro phone mounted on my steering wheel. It mutes the radio when using the phone and when the phones GPS is giving verbal instructions. Also ove rthe radio speakers. Installed it myself, the mounting kit was another $25

Is a very good stero unit was easy to install and sounds great. Has a lot of good features as well.

I would definitely recommend the radio for anyone looking for a great radio. I don't really use the CD player, but it's there in case I want to listen to the cds I do have. It's awesome to listen to the songs on my phone through the bluetooth capability this radio has. And take and receive calls as well

I got this as a birthday gift for my brother's 18th, and he absolutley loved it. what drew me to this specific model over the others was the light display. it flashes multiple colors as music plays which is awesome- it also comes with a remote which is nice, it was easy to install, but it would have been nice if Best-Buy had a deal where they installed it at a cheaper price after you by the radio from them because best buys installation fee is pretty exprensive in my opinion

The programming is difficult. No need for all the confusing flashing light shows. switching sources takes to long causing one to think you are still in the previous source so you push source again and wind up somewhere else. the display is extremely hard to read during daylight hours to much reflection and thus no display visibility. The Bluetooth functions work very well

Great Sound quality. This unit sounds much better than my stock radio. I am very pleased with the sound quality and I'm already use to the interface. My android phone works seamlessly via BT or USB. I am able to listen to Pandora via Bluetooth and fast forward tracks from the receiver's controls.

Once installed this unit really increased my listening while driving. Easy Bluetooth pairing with my phone. Easy to use especially with the remote. Not hard to figure out how to use all the features and I am not all that tech savvy.

this is a great cd player for the money. We have had it for about 2 months and not a problem. Sound is clear, Bluetooth works great And the mic works perfectly once you get it adjusted right.

A great car stereo that is easy to install and loaded with cool functions at a reasonable price. The menu makes it easy to set up and it sounds great!

connects very easily with my cell phone; music streaming via cell phone also works great. However, very limited remote control functions.

love listening to the radio. we use the cd player the most. had the bluetooth hooked up. i would recommend this radio/ cd. both one like it for another truck.

I went to Best Buy in Fort Myers met with Ross from the Geek Squad whom was the installer for the radio and he was great. Same day installation I am so happy with his work and it was done in 1 hour. Great job Ross thank you.

I bought it for my husband's 2002 Chevy Tahoe.He is able to connect his phone and play music from his Iphone,Pandora,and many other apps.He is also able to use the hands free phone feature.It also has a neat little remote that comes with it so that you don't have to always reach to change tracks.I really don't care for the bright lights that flash on it and the time isn't displayed on the main screen,but overall good product.

We purchased this radio for my son for Christmas. Had the Geek squad install it. It's a great radio with all the features. He loves it. It looks sharps and sounds great!
