We bought this camera before going on a vacation and we were hoping we made the right choice. We did. Very easy to use, very lightweight, great capacity (we recorded almost 4 hours of video and a few stills). I had read some reviews that the battery life isn't great, so I almost bought another battery but I am glad I didn't as it wasn't an issue. But, I could charge it every day and I still may get a bigger battery. It is so lightweight that in a strong wind it is easy to get pushed around a little, but whatever,...that is hardly a flaw with the camera. The files were easy to get over to my laptop and easy to manipulate. The menus are organized neatly and easy to move around in. Great camera for the price!

I purchased this camera on-line and received it quicker than expected. I basically took it out of the box, plugged it in, and was able to use it right away. The only reason I gave it a (4) on picture quality is the stabilization when you're zoomed in. It's hard to keep from shaking and it will show on the video. However, when zoomed out a little, it's great. Got some great footage of my son sledding and it worked even in the bitter cold. No complaints whatsoever. The 16 gig internal memory is probably enough for me to use because I dump everything directly on to my computer when I'm done. Still thinking about purchasing the extra memory card though. Haven't used it enough to have anything negative about battery life. I charge it before I use it and haven't run out yet. Great camera for the price!!

Gave this to my daughter as a gift. She loved it. Was easy to use and has enjoyed having it for the holidays.
