I just bought these today and so far so good. THERE IS NO STETHOSCOPE EFFECT!!!! I've been using Skullcandy earbuds for like, 3 years cause they're so cheap, but I love these so much! I was willing to pay $100 for headphones of this quality. I'm so glad I bought these and saved a significant amount of money on something of equal quality. This picture does the color NO JUSTICE!!! It's really shimmery. I love them. And the size of the ear pieces is small enough that I don't feel stupid and big enough to cover the cartilage part of my ear. Get these instead of Skullcandy!

Especially for the money - sounds really really good. Can turn up pretty loud so if that is a concern that your child will not keep the volume down then you may want to check into one that will not allow child to turn up too loud. You can turn these up loud enough to set them on the counter and still hear the music enough to enjoy it as background music.

Don't be scared off by other negative reviews, these earphones are great, especially for the price they are asking. Bought these in store almost a year ago for my niece, They are used pretty much every day, and she takes hers everywhere to listen to her iPod.( in the car, the park etc) Sometimes they are even forgotten, dropped and pushed around, & they're still going strong Definitely a good buy for children since the other earphones usually hurt their ears & wont stay in. I ended loving them so much I got myself a pair.

I purchased my earphones 8 months ago and was very pleased with the sound quality of this product. I don’t care for ear buds and find them extremely unhygienic, thus the JVC’s seemed ideal. Last week the right ear piece started to loose sound and then in a matter of minutes I completely lost sound so now only the left ear works. I took very good care of the headphones (i.e. never dropped them or exposed them to the elements). Highly disappointed and will have to find a new pair.

Got these headphone because my skullcandy ear-buds started to hurt. Mainly use these headphones for R&B & Hip-Hop they sound really good better than expected. Color (purple) looks great. Very portable, i can fit them in my hoody when i go out.

Love the pink. In ear headphones hurt my ears so I got over the ear kind & wanted a fun color. These seemed reasonable but were out of stock in store, so I ordered online because closest store was clear across the state. So had to pay shipping too. They are better than in ear but still make my ears sore after about an hour. Plus after I had worn them for about a week, I saw them at another store for cheaper, so wouldn't have had to pay shipping too. The fold flat feature is nice.

if you want a great pair of headohones i rocomend these plus they match the 4th gen nano

I had a credit, needed new headphones, paid 15 bucks. They are good for that price. The range is decent, they fold flat for storage. They don't feel especially durable, but that's what I expect for a 15 dollar pair of headphones. The retail price was 20. Had I paid that, plus shipping, I'd be annoyed. On the Flip Side, I bought the same set for my wife and she adores hers, so maybe I'm just picky.

I like the color. The sound quality is good for the price.
