I have been using Norton 360 on my small home network for several years with no problem. Recently upgraded 5 PC's to Win 8.1. I Immediately noticed that CPU's were getting much heavier usage at idle than they had before thus making the PC's slower than I expected. I talked to tech support. They said it was because Norton didn't work well with Win8.1 in many ways one of which was that it ended up using substantial CPU cycles. While all of my PC's had this problem, on two ASUS laptops Norton was using essentially all the CPU cycles. They were useless. They recommended Kaspersky. I've loaded it on these two machines and my CPU problem is solved. Idle CPU usage went from 100% to around 8%. The others will get Kaspersky shortly. The problem with Kaspersky is that unlike Norton 360, I can't manage all of my software security and maintenance (backups, defragging, etc.) in one place.

I have Kaspersky on my personal and business computer. It was recommend to me by a person I really trust when it comes to computer. I have always had good luck with it, and it is pretty easy to use and navigate.

This program got rid of the virus(s) that I had and has helped since-warning me when possible virus's might be trying to download to my laptop. It provides peace of mind and prevents loss of access to my laptop.

i got this product together with macbook air. and this is a good combination.

As far as virus protection is concerned, this has bogged my system down the least and provides exceptional protection against any attempts to infiltrate.
