Quiet and works as expected with my M1 MacBook Pro — and with my work laptops — for a solid single-cable desktop workstation. 60W charging, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 4K 60Hz display connection (I’m only using one desktop monitor) were my main priorities, but having properly powered USB -A and -C ports for other accessories like keyboard, external drives, etc., and an SD card slot are very useful additions. My one criticism is that a more compact external power supply would have been nicer (although it’s hidden behind/below my desk) for better portability, but I use this for my desktop setup. It’s been very reliable so far.

This is one of the best docking stations I've used. I use these for employees with 4K monitors and it works great. Pro tip: If you run into issues with your screen blacking out for a second, it is probably a bad cable.

This replaces an older thunderbolt 2 dock I had that quit charging things and started cutting out the thunderbolt connection. It keep my Macbook pro charged while freeing up a port. The lan connection works perfect and it can also charge my ipads and phones. File transfers are fast with all the usb ports.

I like to use multiple monitor screens because I am a multi-tasker and a dock station keeps me sane.

So far so good! Been able to use this successfully with my Surface Pro to connect to an external monitor, plus charge my phone on it as well. Sits nice and tidily on my desk, no extra noise, quality product all around. A bit pricey but I suppose it'll probably last me a while.

I needed a hub and while work provided a massive one with more ports than I ever could use, it stopped working and I decided to pick up this one on my own. It's limited on ports (hence the ports) and could use another USB-A or two, it gets the job down. I especially appreciate the additional power supply.

This is a solid dock but doesn't cooperate well with the new MS Surface Pro Studio. It couldn't properly recognize USB-C or HDMI connections to a brand new Dell monitor.

I wanted to get my Macbook Air charged thru this docking station. It was getting very hot. Then I tried to charge the Air with its own charger but the docking station was still very hot (around 45 C). I called Kensington customer service and they suggested to return it so I returned it.

Exactly what the doctor prescribed. Now have ALL my peripherals connected at same time. Speed test results are right in line with specs.

This dock failed to support 2 monitors. One monitor would intermittently blink off and reconnect, or the video signal would become unstable. Kensington tech support went through a comprehensive trouble shooting with me and determined I had a faulty unit. They replaced it but same problem with the new one. Unit gets quite hot and I wondered if that could be related to the problem. It was fairly expensive, and now I have to buy something else.

Perfect and easy to use and setup! Best bang for your buck
