Geek Squad installation technician was extremely professional and did a great job on install. The sales team during purchase did make a major mistake the date of purchase in store, all items needed were purchased but the sales person forgot order the main face plate bracket system to install the unit, so the day of installation that was scheduled upon arrival the part hadnt been ordered and could not do the installation, which caused a big inconvenience and had to reschedule a week later.

My only issue with this unit is that if you’re not driving and you don’t have steering wheel controls, the touch screen volume controls kind of suck. The trade off is that the unit is super flat on your dash and looks very clean. CarPlay is fantastic.

This receiver looks stylish and is very functional. I have found it to be very intuitive to use. My only wish is that it had a remote, which would make the volume control easier to control.

I installed this in my older vehicle and it modernizes the system. I have access to CarPlay, hands free calling, nice big map when needed, all the features you would want and need in a newer vehicle. I did a self install even though Best Buy was offering free installation. It was pretty easy and took me a few hours.

Loving the car stereo! Only thing I wish the volume was a knob and not a button to control the volume.

Was looking for a reliable and easy use stereo for my daughter that started driving. Needing to update old stereo. She really likes it, super easy to figure out and use.

So far I really enjoy my new stereo. It is an upgrade from a 9 year old aftermarket stereo. My two complaints is one: The owners manual is literally garbage. It tells you what the buttons are, but not what they do. Since I am new to Kenwood, I have no idea what some of the features actually do, only the name of the button. They should really make the owners manual user friendly. And two: I still can't figure out how to connect Apple Car Play wirelessly. If I manually connect the USB line to my iphone, Car Play connects automatically. I actually really like the Car Play feature, but that means I have to remove my USB drive from the line and then attach my phone. Leaving me without all my music from my USB drive.

Nice inexpensive after market radio. Low profile, helped it fit with ease in a compact car. Has 1 input for rear camera and 1 usb input for phone or flash drive. Wish it had 2 usb's. Overall, very happy for the price.

Bought this because the Sony units were out of stock, and although I like the easy of use of the Sony better, so far this has been a great alternative and does everything else need it to do.
