USEFUL ITEM TO COMPLETE THE SOUND SYSTEM IN MY CAR

They busted i am not the one to always be playing music loud. wouldn't recommend better spend the extra $15 and buy the kicker.

I used these to replace the door speakers in my 2015 f150. The basic no navigation no factory amp system. They were an immediate improvement over stock but noticeably lacked in the bass/mid range. After hooking up an amp (4ch 100wrms per ch @4ohm)these dudes REALLY came alive. they'll give you all you need. Plenty of bass, mids, and highs. I also got the same concert series 5.25 in the rear doors. The only thing I don't like is in the specs list about power ratings. One place says 650rms one says 650 peak, one says 125 nominal....come on guys what is it?? This is why 4 not 5 stars

I listened to the 6.5" 3 way version these at the store and was impressed with their range and clarity of sound, as well as good power ratings. Installed these 6x9 5 ways front of 2008 Toyota Highlander (non-JBL option) along with the matching Kenwood 6.5", 3 way rear of the same series. For the reviews that mention lack of bass, I could not disagree more. The mids and mid-highs are a bit prominent with the paper mid and 3 tweeters, but with proper EQ adjustment to bring those ranges down a bit, the overall sound is FANTASTIC from lows through highs. The bass is clean and punchy. Combined with the rear 6.5" Kenwoods the bass resonates clean and strong. If you turn up the bass end of EQ, the speakers can put out even more clean bass without distorting. Side note, I previously installed a JBL set which had slightly better bass than these, but they distorted, cracked, and popped at medium-high volumes. To my ear, these Kenwoods sound much better with some EQ adjustment, and they do not distort at all. Crystal clear.

Good product, ended up blowing them both out towards the end of there life. Glad i got geeksqaud protection.

The clarity is real good and loud I have 6 pairs..

Purchased for a 2007 Dodge Ram suggested by the auto tech. These are not an upgrade from OEM 10 year old speakers. They high range is ok, the mid and low ranges are poor. I plan to return them and purchase another item. I also noticed that BestBuy is the only company with the KFC-690 Kenwood part number.
